Richmond Bridge reviews
50Looking up at the Richmond Bridge while sitting on the grass on the riverbank gives you the feeling of having a picnic on a sunny afternoon in the 19th century. This bridge alone is worth stopping by in Richmond.
This is a beautiful convict bridge surrounded by parkland with resident ducks. You can walk under the bridge also. A nice place for a picnic on riverbank after wandering thru the love town. Plenty of parking.
Almost 200 year old bridge and still is used for vehicles to pass even in current day. Great example to see of history.
I love this place, it's so peaceful and also really close to the shops. It's one of my favourite place close to Hobart. The houses are traditional and you feel like in one of those towns in the movies.
Historic bridge, oldest in Australia. Pleasant walk along river with good photo spots. Nearby park, public toilets, bakery with coffee.
The oldest bridge in Australia that’s still in use. The bridge and the town is a must visit to learn more about the history of Tasmania and Australia.and to have some joyful time.
Lovely area for a picnic. Beautiful old bridge. The town also has a lot of interesting things to see, buy and look at.
Good place for photography near the bridge. Free parking lot near the bridge. Do club visit to nearby Church and city centre.
Great place to relax and enjoy a light lunch while listening to a band playing in the background

老的桥梁,至今仍在使用。The most famous landmark in Richmond is the Richmond Bridge, built by prisoners from 1823 to 1825, and it was about the first settlement in the town. It is the oldest in Australia
The old bridge is still in use today.
Beautiful place. Love the way the town keeps all of the heritage building in use and in great condition. You can spend hours wandering in stores and around the town.
Always wanted to see the historic Richmond Bridge since I was a schoolkid. I wasn't disappointed!
Beautiful place to visit. Old convict built sandstone bridge, gaol, Church and other buildings. Plenty to see and do. Great for young kids.
Lovely old convict build bridge.
Oldest bridge of this design in Australia. Cheers John R
A beautiful area for a stroll around a picturesque historic town. Well maintained parks, and paths. A lovely place for a romantic walk or a day trip for the family.
Great little town with the oldest stone bridge in Australia. Well worth a visit if you are in Hobart Town

Beautiful ornate old bridge AD1823. Well worth a look & sit in the pretty park & feed the ducks
A fantastic piece of workmanship by our early convicts and engineers this bridge has stood the test of time nearly 200 years later. Well worth a stop and checking out the are also.
