6/7/2022 I supplied and installed a gas hot water unit for this business and completed all compliance paperwork necessary and have had my administration spend countless hours trying to recover the $3000 Corey Baker - owner of the Red Brick Road Cider House owes my business. Have presented payment options and have made countless calls and offered several payment scenarios. Please remind him this is not how you do business in Tasmania. This is the first time in 10 years of running this business a person has taken for granted good will offered by another local small business. Sorry Corey this review will remain until invoice is paid in full as previously discussed.

Nice little cosy set up. Tried their tray of tasters with my partner. She liked the ginger beer stuff, I liked the cider stuff, what a wonderful complement.

Nice little venue. Cosy lounges. Drinkable, albeit overpriced ciders on tap. Occasional food truck out front. However, a modest bottle of ok gin with a plastic cap is $120. For that price, you expect the gin to knock it out the park. And it doesn't. Don't avoid the place. But avoid the gin.

Nice charming distillery/brewery setup. Mixed cider was very good, scrumpy also delicious. Would recommend.

This post is years late, but is one that is absolutely required to be made.

Me and my boyfriend were backpacking, travelling around tasmania when we stumbled across red brick distillery.

What started out as only a couple of drinks (which we throughly enjoyed), we ended up staying for the entire night until the early hours and were treated as if we were family ourselves.

Although it is not an experience that will be shared by everybody, we just thought it’s important that it is known how incredible the people and establishment are and would definitely recommend stopping by.

$15 for a glass of average cider, I’ve tried some excellent cider in Tasmania over the past few weeks though.
The gin that’s for sale for $120 a bottle is 25% cheaper in the local bottle shops but I guess needs must during these times.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff HOWEVER no prices listed so we got a seriously nasty shock at the end price- unbelievably expensive which felt dishonest since they didn't advertise this

Great staff and really nice atmosphere and location. Beer was good however for a cider house they only had two types of cider available. Our group had both and they tasted nothing like cider none of us could drink it that’s how bad it was. I have had the cider here before and it was very nice. The bar staff said the brewer was experimenting with new recipe, he needs to go back to the old recipe.

$15 for a small plastic cup of cider.bloody ridiculous!
Won't be visiting again!
Also only one cider on offer!

The cider is the worst cider I have ever tasted and there is a reason why they dont display a sign with prices. $15 for a dirty glass of cider. This is a minimum effort type brewery but want to charge outrageous prices. Will not visit again.

Fun place to visit.
Interesting fact is that they use the hops from their vine out front.

Fantastic ciderworks and well worth the visit if you are in the area. Very friendly staff who are happy to answer all your questions about their process. Sit and enjoy a drink in their warehouse, kitted out with antique chairs and good music. Will definitely visit again!

We've been here twice recently on a Saturday late afternoon. Cider delicious
Tried a few flavours. I think the prices are good. Owner welcoming as we're new to the area. Yet to try the gin, but have heard other customers say it's good. We also love the fish n chips from the food truck & again it's great value. Highly recommend.

It would be great if you can update your operating hours online so we don't have to make a detour to arrive an hour before supposedly closing time to find lights off and doors shut. Thanks.

$15 for 1 drink? The fellow wasn’t that interested in having a chat and was to busy on his phone. Live near by but won’t be back same cos could of sat there for ages. Sailor food truck set up for dinner went and ask for fish and chips but was told be another 30 minutes away before service. Recommend you back in next time instead of a 50,000 point turn in the car park.

Great personal experience. Beautiful gin (both straight and on tap), cider and a unexpectedly great mid strength beer on tap!
