Unfortunately I cannot write a review about rooms and location as I was due to go in a couple of days, but unfortunately I have tested positive and thought the best thing to do is to stay home and isolate, rather than hop on a plane and travel interstate.
But I will rate the service as very rigid they had no compassion for my circumstances and refused to waive penalties for cancellation, would they have preferred that I stay at their hotel and maybe spread my germs to all.
Very, very disappointed with RACV Hobart I have been an RACV member for 41 years, if this is how Gold Members are treated then what’s the point of staying loyal.

Staff 10/10
Always friendly when we had breakfast.
Room had a smell of smoke every time we entered.
Air conditioning seemed to be the source of the smell.
Otherwise it was okay.

Great location, lovely spacious rooms which included (at least in mine and my sister's) an amazing bath tub perfect for a bubble bath before going downstairs for food and cocktails at Cascade bar on Collins which has internal access through the lounge.

Brilliant hotel. You can walk everywhere from here, & the sky bus has its stop right outside which is very handy. Great bar too. Showers were bliss and bedding was luxurious. I highly recommend.

Right in the centre of Hobart. Walking distance almost everywhere.

Cute bar and lounge. We didn't try the restaurant so I can't comment on their food. Clean and crisp rooms. I loved that there was an option to not have your room serviced to save resources. We didn’t work out how to redeem the $10 drink voucher that they offered in exchange for skipping the service but it was a nice gesture.

Very very tiny downside was that the gym had 5x stationary bikes and 6x rowing machines but no treadmills? A bit odd.

Great spot to stay in Hobart, would recommend.

Had a meeting so unable to comment on the rooms. However, from the general appearance I would imagine the rooms are of high quality. Staff friendly & professional. Great location in the central CBD.

Great hotel. I booked another night here just because it was very comfortable.
Buffet breakfast was really good.
Room was great with parking.
Parking in Hobart sucks.
Staff were really great too.
Thanks RACV.

Am excellent place to stay with spacious rooms; the balcony was a relaxing way to overlook the city and waterfront.

Amazing place, great food and very helpful and friendly staff. A full height wardrobe would have been useful to hang dresses.

Disgusting service. Construction going on in the building without any prior notice. Staff were extremely abrupt and rude with us at all points of contact.
You are 100% better off going literally anywhere else; the staff will probably be kinder to you at a backpackers lodge

Comfortable room, clean, fresh, good shower for tall people. Nice bar downstairs with happy hour. Compliments to the Chef. Charcoal Scotch Fillet and market fish (Hokapu), entrees and deserts all well cooked and presented.
Only downside was sun shutter didn’t stay closed, so used a spare cushion from the bed to keep it shut. Sunset at 9pm, so necessary if you want an early night.
Central location to the CBD, short walk to the Marina. Cafe’s, market etc.
Enjoyed our week long stay.

Great hotel with the best people front and back of house. Central location and will be back again. Even skybus stop is across the street.

Comfortable rooms, great location, on site parking and friendly staff. Our room has a city view with a river view from the balcony.

Currently staying here and the penthouse while spacious is looking tired and old
In need of a good clean and some better blocking out of sun into the room in morning times
Just for the price of this room, would expect better

Our second stay here was not good.
We were not advised to book in through the front first, there were no carparks.
I wanted to cancel my booking but was going to be charged full price as I was told I booked through a travel agent. Never have and never will use one. I merely used a Qantas voucher when I booked. Drclare there will be issues if this is the case.
$15 per night to park and as there were no spots I was advised it was valet parking. If my hire car was damaged they are not responsible! ! Very disappointing.

Not a great experience, charged us an extra $30 for two kids because of some fire hazard regulation but they later said it was because we did not add the 2 children on our booking (Covid situation) so we added them upon check-in however booking with and without a child on their website it is the same price. Effectively $60 to input 2 names into their computer while they can’t decide which reason it is for the additional charge. They argue and talk over you while you complain too. Moving on, you have to book housekeeping which was confirmed twice for two bedrooms and they didn’t show up so we had to inconveniently leave the room. We were charged 2 bottles of water because they only provide 1 complimentary bottle a day. Requested for a late checkout (standard 12pm) and they couldn’t accomodate because there were too many people departing on the same day, in other words they can’t handle running a hotel. All these issues are a consequence of what the hotel cannot handle at our expense. Expect the lowest standard of service …. But clean hotel!

Great location very close to Everything including the wharf, salamanca markets and a big list of restaurants and shops. Parking on sire at $15 a night. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Bar and restaurant on site. One of the only complaints is that the entertainment system on the TV is antiquated with no netflix or similar options. They have a built in movie system that charges $10 per view of movies, some of which are 5 or 6 years old. So if you have kids bring their tablets as the weather can keep you indoors sometimes.

Great surprise and perfect accommodation. Very well maintained. Everything we needed in the one-bedroom apartment. Bathroom was stunning and bedding very comfortable. Staff was great as well. Covered car park was a plus. Central location. Keep up the good work!

Everything has been excellent. Service is professional and friendly. Apartments are a good size and comfortable. Breakfast is good value. Location is exceptional. I'd stay here again for sure
Extra notes: excellent hair dryer. Kitchen doesn't have a stove or oven so looks like it's more for heat in the microwave stuff. There is a kettle, toaster and fridge.
Salamanca markets and the ferry to mona are a 5 - 10 minute walk from hotel. Fico restaurant is a must if you enjoy fine dining. Its only a 2-3min walk from the hotel. Bar Wa is authentic Japanese food in a fantastic vibe restaurant, only 10min walk from hotel.
