Dated. But if you are looking for an affordable place in Queenstown this is centrally placed near shops and visitor experiences

Room is renovated and clean. There is fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Kettle is slightly small though.

Very basic.the proprietor tried to charge a second time for the accommodation.
Never stay there again

I stayed last week for a night. The staff were friendly and helpful, the meal at the restaurant was very good, and the room was fine.

Great check-in staff - she has such a wonderful sense of humour. Rooms very good on the whole.

Restaurant Cha 9 has delicious Chinese food served in an elegant setting. Highly recommended.

Worked for the night, clean and comfortable, walk to everything, didn't see any staff.

Well located in middle of the town. Easy access to car parking.
Room had all services.

This stay was behind unacceptable. Rooms did not seem as they were cleaned due to the yellow stains all over bed sheets and pillows. As well as brown stains on sanitary bags on the toilet and even browner stains on the towels. The shower had mould everywhere and the mattress was like cardboard. Each night would be a different experience, first you would get an encounter with a cockroach crawling through your hair to the next when people are shouting either side of your room. This is not the place to stay if you are looking to have a comfortable night. It is a 50/50 chance your room will get cleaned each day as one of our rooms was cleaned and the other was not. The photos on the website are not what it is. Completely false advertising with the pictures looking way better than it actually is. The whole time we stayed there the restaurant was not open. Or the reception. When we got there our key was in the door with absolutely no security. Horrible experience will never do again couldn’t even get me back if you paid me. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Didn't stay there just went to dinner at their restaurant, the food was delicious, I'd call it Thai Fusion, very tasty indeed.

Good budget accommodation.a little tired but great value for money. Pity the restaurant wasn't open though.

Had dinner at Cha 9 restaurant. Superb, food is delicious and very reasonable. The quality is evidenced by the large number of take away as we as eat in diners

Very friendly staff. Fantastic restaurant. Very old rooms, but well equipped. Not well maintained. Great position.

No new towel for next day, no box tissue provided in some rooms, no microwave and no bowls, zero communication with the owner

Very dated and the colours were out there, but the bed was super comfy, and it was a warm room.

The hosts are wonderful and looked after me superbly during my stay.
The room was warm and toasty unlike the winter chills of Queenstown. Spotless room and a great spot to stay. Being locals they provide that little bit extra.

Friendly staff, off road parking, heaters warmed up room and electric blanket helped for cold night - bed was relatively comfortable.
However, shower had mould on the wall around the top of it, and I wasn't game enough to use the kettle.
No microwave in rooms, so can't heat up meals, and when we stayed the restaurant wasn't open, and there was only 1 other place in town to get a meal from after 5.00pm (apart from the pub down the road)
So just need to be prepared for these things.

The room was old and had a mouldy smell to it. After one night we changed to another accomodation in town.

The room was completely different to what we booked and smelt very old. Mould was in the shower/bathroom. Fan was full of dust. And couldn't even use the kettle to make a coffee as there was black stuff in it and when you rinsed it, it had white flakes floating.
For a couple who are asthmatic and allergic to penicillin was not a pleasant stay and would not recommend it.

Basic but all you need. Rooms look like they've been recently renovated, but decor a bit too sombre perhaps. Nice helpful lady at reception. Great heater in room took the chill off nicely.
