Overall the park is clean but our experience here is pretty lousy.

We booked a site weeks in advance and then we were made to park and sleep next to the toilet in the middle of the footpath.

To be charged $45 for a so-called site and then have to sleep under bright fluorescent lights, next to vending machines, with people walking through our camp site, was pretty poor.

Definitely one of the worser caravan park experiences and not worth the money, might as well have slept in the car park at the supermarket for free.

We spoke to the staff about this and it’s not their fault so no blame on their part. You just shouldn’t take peoples bookings and then charge them if you don’t have enough appropriate spaces to accommodate them.

Stopped here with our campervan per chance as we weren't sure where we were going for the night. Plenty of spots available mid week.

The park had plenty of amenities, dated but still absolutely usable. Camp kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils, pot/pans, BBQs out and plenty of space. The fire on was a nice touch in the evening. Bathrooms were decent enough and the hand towels and floor mats where a nice touch.

Only downside was the abundance of gravel, But easy to maintain I guess, and we were only there one night so didn't bother us too much. Watching the sunset reflect onto Mt Owen was a plus.
