Queens Head Hotel

Very comfy and convenient location with reasonable pricing and comfy accommodations for those that need it. Clean and decent food and ample parking everytime I've been here.

The hotel has really built up the venue and now provide a really good menu and drinks to suit all tastes

Very rude had a lady who's supposed to be working speak to me in a poorly way, bagged me out to another customer when I hadn't even left far from friendly far from professional, I called and spoke to the manager to complain but he didn't seem to care at all and was callinge a liar saying "he doubted that was I was saying would of happen was just as rude at the "lady"
Never would I go there again

Good size servings, selection and quick service. Crumbed scallops were good and the chicken snitzel is huge!

Went on the 14th of Dec for a Christmas work dinner, was hard to get parking close by, had to park at least 3 blocks away, the bar staff taking our orders all seemed flustered and stressed and due to this one person missed out on their meal because they got "missed" when the meals arrived they were okay, my partners meat was a mixture of well done and medium rare, and speaking to others they had the same issue. My salmon was good though, but others said theirs was oily. This was a work function, I'm not sure what they are like outside of a busy setting like this but if they crack like this with a dinner seating of 25 then I don't hold much hope for a sit down meal for 4.

Just called in for a meal, treatment from barman was appalling, won't go back again.went to Black Bufullo, completely the opposite.

Good good at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Great place to have our rock and roll dances.

Good priced and tasty meals. Reasonable prices for alcohol.

Plenty of seating and also a sports bar type room with sports and pool tables.

I flew in on a Friday for an evening wedding, but was delayed three hours by the airline. As a result I was forced to head directly to the ceremony on arrival, which meant I didn't have time to check in beforehand. This was a concern, because I knew I wouldn't make it to the hotel until 2am, well past closing. I need not have worried. Scott went out of his way to help. He made a special arrangement for me to collect the key from a secure location, and then followed up to ensure all went smoothly. You can't beat service like that! And the room was perfect. Comfy beds, well away from the bar so very quiet, with easy access to nearby restaurants, cafes and downtown Hobart. I'll be back!

Probably the best pub roast I have had! Staff were very friendly and made every effort to ensure the dietary requirements of those at my table were met. Will return!

Got meals when living away for work with three others, been here three times before and always had a good experience but the most recent will be our last. Served by a blunt and plainly rude attendant who I can only assume was the owner, meals are smaller, dearer and less fresh. Lamb cutlets came with two frozen cutlets, 350g scotch was more like a 200g chicken burger was greasy and had more mayonnaise than chicken and a cheap takeaway shop style bread bun.
Overall extremely dissatisfied, paid big money for a very poor excuse of a meal, would not reccomend.
