Punchbowl Reserve reviews
40Garden very neglected, no one has done aniything for severral years, lots of weeds, no flowers, looks terrible.
Beautiful reserve to enjoy a family get together. Lots of seating and BBQs to enjoy a day out.
Nice little reserve to go for a picnic or bbq and let the kids play. Ideal location for a kid's birthday party. Enjoy everyone.
Family friendly park with a big area for your kids to roam. Just needs a bit better drainage as it is a bit muddy in spots
I’ve lived in Newstead for three years and never knew this place existed -besides the map location- so I was fascinated by the beauty and stillness of this place. Away from the razzle & dazzle of traffic.
Secret gem of Launceston, the flowers, peace and quiet. Makes a great gathering for a BBQ or romantic picnic.
Lovely sheltered park. Good bbq and seating facilities. Lots of wild life for the kids to see.
Came here assuming it was a waterfall but its a park instead. There's a small creek and waterfall nearby but you'll have to follow the signs.
Overall, a nice place to relax with some very cute ducks.
A great little spot with walks and parks to cater for all. And if you like photography you can photograph the wonderfall waterfall just a minute or two from the main parking area.
Amazing space punch bowl, with play equipment for the kids, amenities near the bbqs and tables and bins
Brilliant set up
Huge space to even have a kick of the footy
Great place to take kids to play, picnic or little bush walks. Some good open spaces for kids to run. Has fantastic facilities, bbq, toilets and picnic tables. Plus grassed areas for picnics as well.
Without doubt this is most certainly a park, replete with public toilets (restrooms? !) Local fauna and flora and the piecé de la resistancé picnic tables. Somewhere to park your arse and consume your lunch, breakfast or somewhere in between perhaps (dinner not withstanding of course). I personally did not observe 5 stars but it was not the evening when I attended. Your results may vary.
Lovely bit of nature in the midst of suburbia. A great place to go to refresh and recharge, without having to leave the city
Beautiful park with a good playground, parking can be a bit rough when there's a couple family's there.
Beautiful park. Easy to get to, parking is a little sparse when it's packed. But a beautiful spot. Kids play equipment, toilets, BBQs. Great spot for a picnic or family function.
A beautiful, natural, free outdoor experience. Enjoy mingling with the ducks and native chooks while strolling around the small lake. If you time it right you might even catch a glimpse of the resident platypus in the creek.
Playground for the kids and BBQ area makes Punchbowl the perfect day out for the whole family.
It also hosts some beautiful gardens and a hidden waterfall which provide a lovely backdrop for a romantic date (well away from the kids of cause).
Relaxing BBQs picnic areas. Very popular area. People get there at 8am to get a BBQ ready for dinner. There is public toilets.
Beautiful location for get togethers outdoors. Plenty of dpace to stretch out with bbqs and play equipment for chikdren. Loys of beauty in the surroundings.
Not worth the drive and hike up to the lookout. Visited after over a week of heavy rainfall but the water wasn’t very clean and the falls barely had any force.
