Prince of Wales Hotel

My pizza was a bit ordinary. While the overall size and toppings were generous, there was an overcooked crust made from cheese and pepperoni on the top not connected to the rest of the pizza, which would fall off every time i picked up a slice. Everyone else's dishes were generous and excellent.

The outdoor seating area and tables might need updating, a couple of the chairs at our table were broken.

Overall it was fine.

Rude staff full stop, except for the lady in the kitchen who was really nice. Food was ok but nothin to write home about. Some people should'nt work in hospitality

Took my parents last night for tea for their wedding anniversary.
Service was great.meals were not great my dad asked for a very veey well done t-bone and it wasn't. My lamb chops came out still mooing mentioned to the wait staff and was told she would let the chef know.nothing of we will discount your meal or have them replaced.very disappointed so this was our third time there and it wasn't as nice as the first couple of visits so that's done for us.

This pub has a lovely setting inside and out in its beer garden Nice large meals at really good prices Drinks are at a good price as well

Great meal for dinner, love the fact they have half serves! Beer and wine was also good and the service people were on point on a rather busy Wednesday night.

Didn't stay there just went there for lunch after the markets but can't fault it. Service was great and the food was delicious and value for money.

I had a half serve of scallops (10 scallops) and it was delicious. I went on a Friday and it was booked out. Great atmosphere and service

The food was fantastic!
We had the crumbed lamb cutlets, they were so amazing, paired with some Tasmanian wine what a winner! Beautiful, clean and a nice beer garden out back with a garden. 10 out of 10 recommend.

This is for meals not accommodation but the meals are absolutely delicious only need to order half meals just huge

Meals were nice and big, our room was very spacious and had a bath. Great atmosphere, owner was very helpful, staff were polite and nice. We will be back!

What a great Experience, good old school pub good old school pub accommodation, Greeted by the locals and made feel at home worth a visit for a beer and a feed, made feel very welcome. Thanks Guys

Visited for lunch on 2/10/22 absolutely top service and meal was excellent in fantastic garden surroundings, seating inside as well. Highly recommended

Great spot for some beers and a stay in our motorhome on a Saturday night.

The outdoor area is very inviting. The garden leads to the back carpark where RVs can stay on Saturday night to go to the markets on Sunday morning in town.

We are fully self contained. Could walk to the Penny Farthing races, the Showgrounds and the Sunday markets. Great bakery and coffee around the corner. Quiet. Great food and Tamara the publican is very obliging. Such a hard worker too. The Caravaners

We stayed here for a quick stop over at night and could fit our 26ft caravan in the small space, it’s just at the back of the pub. Sadly it was not open for lunch or dinner when we were here. We looked online when we got there and looks like they are only opened on Wed-Sun but make sure you check that before you go, it’s in a great central location of Evandale and it was great to leave the caravan and walk around the lovely little town. If you stay here it’s best to be self contained and on the Monday the garbage man came of collect rubbish, it was a good wake up call

A good solid honest country pub. Doesn’t try to be too trendy or pretentious - just good honey food and cold beer at reasonable prices.
The staff were friendly and the place was clean and well presented. Love the bar, with it’s spacious drinking area and huge stags head.
The food was very basic but not expensive - manage your expectations and everything will be great!

Had meal last night, first time been there, best counter meal, in launceston, will be back, can't recommend highly enough
