Port Sorell Lions Caravan Park reviews
21The park is close to all facilities. Beautiful beach.excellent walking/bicycle paths. Cafe adjacent to park. Ideal park during off peak period.very busy other times.
Best caravan park on the NW coast for price and closeness to the beach. No greedy price hikes since covid. Friendly park managers.
Stayed here last Thursday night. Nice site, waking distance to the beach. $26 for 2 people - unpowered site. Timed shower limits. $4 for washing machine. $1 for 10 minutes dryer.
I've stayed here around 4 or 5 times now. Never disappointed. The original sites I booked were exposed to the wind on this occasion and the staff were happy to shuffle us around at late notice to make us as comfortable as possible. Convenient location, facilities were clean and enjoyable
Fantastic caravan park. Staff are always helpful and accommodating. Park is clean and well maintained and overall just a great place to stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend to anybody. Close to everything. Heaps of sites. Good prices.
The site was big, well spread out. It is by the sea and just fresh air all the time. The amenities are clean, there’s 2 cubicles for wheelchairs and mobility issues. The water you have to press a few times on some cubicles but the unisex ones have 5 minutes so plenty of water. No mixing just well controlled hot water running at an adequate time. The staff on duty was friendly and helpful. This is a dog friendly site and plenty of walks by the beach. Just beware of the council staff who hands out fines if you get your dog off leash at a non designated place and time, hefty fines.
Very convenient for spirit of Tassie, it is on the same side so no bridge to cross.
Didn’t see any bbq areas or outside grills. There’s a camp kitchen but didn’t get the chance to go there.
The park is spread across multiple points, all of which are against the water front (behind the vegetation). The sites are decent sized and fairly well laid out. The amenities we had access to were great, clean and decent size.
There appeared to be multiple walk track entry points down to the beach, and the location is close by for walking to pizza and coffee.
Idyllic location for relaxation and kiddos to play.
Our site was big and reasonably priced.
Everyone seemed to know one another which felt like we crashed a family style welcoming holiday party.
Great caravan park.
Fantastic location. Right on the beach.
Clean amenities and large sites.
Was in an unpowered site right near the jetty. This was a private little area for a groupof friends.
Great access to the beach for sand play and fishing.
Excellent camp spot, Great camp kitchen, but disappointed the amenities block was not cleaned, nor the bins in them emptied, once in the 6 days we were there.
Lovely location next to the estuary and all great facilities. Cheap too for a non-powered site. I spent 3 nights here in February. There is an IGA and a Woolworths a few minutes drive up the road so you need a car to get around.
Great place to holiday caravans and campsites right near the ocean, good fishing flat head Taylor trout ect. Friendly service clean amenities
This is an excellent place for calm walks and beach photography.
Awesome spot to fly drones for beginners and veterans.
Sheryl Presley We most certainly do not have cameras in our showers, how dare you tell untruths and if you had asked for another shower key we would have given you one. (Caretakers). The cameras you are referring too are light sensors which turn the lights on when the door is opened.
Nice camping site close to the beach (direct access from camping site to beach).
The site was not heavily crowded in December 19 while we have been there.
The public kitchen area was well equipped with everything that might be needed.
In general the showers and toilets are clean. They are older and for having a shower, you have to press a button that provides water for 5 minutes. After this 5 minute period, you have to wait another 5 minutes to have again the water flowing.
Wasn't aware that u had 1 key for 2 people to toilets and all toilets showers had cameras up high to watch everyone.
Just think b4 u go there.
!
Perfect sunny winter weekend at this beautiful clean, friendly caravan park. Highly recommend it. $33 a night for powered site.
