Plants of Tasmania Nursery reviews
19I've found John and the staff to be nothing but helpful with my efforts to reintroduce native plants to my garden. Thorough knowledge base, friendly smile and fabulous advice. Can't rate highly enough.
I've been going to this nursery for years. Always pleased with range of plants and gardening products available- also the service - the staff being knowledgeable and interested in my questions.
Treat yourself/he's and visit them. Ridgeway, itself, is a treat - off the beaten track but worth a look.
Loved this nursery, friendly staff and a large variety of Tasmanian natives as well as Australian varieties. Will be back.
Thanks for the tour guys.
This place is excellent and they have just about every part for the garden and outdoors. Definitely, you wouldn't say it is a discount centre however you are paying for the comfort. Employees are completely excellent and there is almost always someone in attendance that may have the ability to assist with these delicate inquiries.
Wow, I have been meaning to get there for years. It was so busy at the plant sale. I will go back again when it's quite
Great service, both online and in store. Wonderful range of plants, reasonable prices. One of my favourite nurseries in Australia. I traveled an hour out of my way when visiting Tasmania to visit and it was entirely worth the effort.
One of the nicest and most customer friendly plant nurseries I have been to. A wonderful selection of Tasmanian plants, selected to suit the gardeners of both large and small private gardens.
The staff were very helpful, both in selection and planting advice. Low pressure, high service means a wonderful experience.
We will be back!
Fantastic variety of Australian native plants, specialising in and with the largest range of Tasmanian natives. The advice is second to none, with all experienced and knowledgeable staff mire than happy to offer as much time as needed to make sure you hey exactly what you want!
Wonderful nursery with a huge range of Tasmanian and mainland native plants. We always come away with more plants than we went for, the prices are much cheaper than your regular suburban nursery and lots of advice if you need it. Highly recommended.
Absolute pleasure to deal with, as an interstate customer this couldn’t have been easier, great communication and great plant transport, highly knowledgeable and honest staff to top it off. Five stars every day.
Close to city, easily accessible and good variety of plants of good quality, available at cheaper price point.
Interested in buying certain plant at their nursery, unfortunately their customer service never responded via email. I think they were just not bothered in replying at all when they ca not make a profit. Not a high quality nursery to deal with.
Superb variety of healthy plants and very knowledgeable helpful staff with an added bonus of delightful, practical and inspiring garden-centred books and cards. Do yourself a favour. GO, buy and enjoy!
Fantastic little nursery with a great range of Tassie and Australian natives. Friendly staff who are very comfortable with children having a touch and explore. Great website too
You'll always find something to buy, and the super knowledgeable staff have answers to every question. I always leave with more plants than I planned to buy.
Outstanding. Don't window shop here. Buy something and support them. Something for everyone. They stock a wide range of Australian natives and Tasmanian endemics. My favourite place after the Botanic Gardens - but thats for looking. This is for buying.
Most helpful and knowledgeable owner; a peaceful setting, and oodles of wonderful plants. You could spend hours here browsing, and will come away inspired!
A small but very worthy place to visit if you have any interest in green things. Makes you either want to spend your superannuation on plants or go for a bush walk. I particularly enjoyed the edible plants section. Good prices too.
I was there last December and was assisted by a knowledgeable staff member Linda who actually spent ages with me. The plants are flourishing and I've just been back again today. Once again, excellent service from another knowledgeable and helpful person Karen. Took time to explain things to me. Fantastic variety and very reasonable pricing. Still have more gardening to complete so will be back again soon. Highly recommended. I previously posted a review in error and stated that the weight of the potting mix bag was underweight and have to humbly apologize that I was wrong and this has now been pointed out to me. Sorry for my misunderstanding. Hence John's comment below. My mistake!
