Peppermint Ridge Retreat

Peppermint Ridge Retreat has the most beautiful views of anywhere we have stayed. It is also quiet and very relaxing, with friendly and thoughtful hosts. Well located to explore the food and wine south of Hobart, and only a few minutes from the Bruny Island ferry.
Warm and comfortable even in the middle of a Tasmanian winter! Would gladly return, and hope we do.

Don't really want to rate this place, as the secret will be out. From reading the guest book, this accommodation has made a lot of people very happy. We spent 4 days here and it felt like a month. Great location, view and facilities, but it's the little thoughtful things that makes this place 6 stars. Hosts are very good at making certain things your have forgotten are here, ready to go.

This place is the perfect spot to unwind, relax and rest. We loved the toasty warm wood fire, fresh bread baking in the oven, spa bath and super comfy beds. Surrounded by nature and the most beautiful views, this place is a real treat for couples or families. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks so much Ben!

It's a very unique building. A bit rustic, but spacious and with great amenities. Except for the toilet which is just a hole in the floor. This was a bit disgusting, but my companion said this is probably normal for Tasmania. Fair enough. Great wildlife running around the property. Sorry I broke your washing machine door.

Fabulous location and views. The apartment has all the amenities and its a wonderful design and outlook. The toilet does have a seat and everything, but no flushing as its a waterless toilet. Felt like I was glamping. Lovely bathroom however. And the fireplace was perfect. The owner is very accommodating and helpful, I highly recommend booking direct with Ben.

For a last minute solo gypsy traveler, Peppermint Ridge Retreat popped up and Ben was responsive and kind for my late arrival. Breakfast in the fridge, lights on, easy peasy. Beautiful spa studio, has everything, then some extras. Fire place was ready to light, easy instructions, took the chill out of the space. Huge spa bathroom. Heated bed pads. Awesome place, I'll be back, with advance notice next time. Thanks Ben!

This place is amazing. I would highly recommend. The views are amazing. It is close Bruny island as well as a number of other great attractions. The breakfast that is supplied for the first morning of your stay is fantastic.
