Penny's Bakery of Channel Court reviews
16Fresh rolls and sandwiches are always great! Plenty of filling. Pies are good, probably 4/5. Staff are always friendly!
Mediocre service and food that is just edible. The party pies were mostly gristle and very dry.
A friendly bakery in the community serving great food and coffee! The muffin I got is so moist and buttery. So perfect to chill out there with a sweet treat all the time! All the cheerful staff there is what always keeps customers flocking back I reckon.
If you’re looking for a variety of bread, pastries and pies with quality assurance, I can tell here is the best choice in Tasmania. Not only the range of choices will amaze you, but also you can’t beat the price anywhere else. I especially love their almond tarts and custard cards and they are always my grab and go snacks!
The best Cappuccino in hobart! The food was good as well. Especially the barista, whose name is Ivy, she's smile is wonderful.
"Where's the chicken? " I asked myself whilst poking through my curried chicken pie. The inside filling wasn't cooked through and tasted floury and gluggy! After peeling off the lid I finally discovered some thin shreads of meat, barely a mouthful in the entire portion.
Worst chicken pie I've ever had.
A delightful cafe in the Channel Court Shopping Centre in Kingston. It has a wide range of baked goods, tea and coffee and a very pleasant atmosphere as well. The staff make you feel very welcome indeed. Located near Woolworths.
Used to be the place to go when we went to Kingston not any more waited 25 minutes while dark haired girl made 2 sandwiches same for coffee which should come out almost immediately other people who came in after us were serrved first
Also blonde haired lady quite rude instead of being apologetic had two bad experiences up till now won't give it a third
Bring back the ladies who used to be there before Bev and Dennis Shuker
Love Penny's. Great food and coffee. Staff always friendly, efficient and helpful. So glad it is in Kingston.
This shop has beautiful fresh breads as well as a range of handmade sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it.
Too crowded in the noon we got there, busy shop and very fresh foods. Had a 5 mins wait, very great value deal coffee with scone[ThumbsUp]
Coffee and cake were absolutely lovely. Amazing atmosphere. Must stop for cafe when Shopping in Woolworth:)
My daughter and I had a lovely Morning Tea in Penny's:) waitress was charming and so welcoming and we appreciated that.
The blueberry Muffin was amazing and when I ordered a coffee, they gave us a coffee and cake deal without even having to ask! Excellent food and nice and warm inside!
Such a wonderful and the best Birthday chocolate cake ever I tasted. It really exceeded my expectation. Thanks
Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean bakery, seemed a favorite lunch spot for the elderly community. Meat pies were full of meat and pastry was very crispy. Sausage rolls were the favorite, also purchased a 6 pack of fruit scones for afternoon tea, these were big and tasty, very good value for money, the kids got a 4 pack of choc slice for an afterschool treat when they arrived home, they weren't fans of the slice, a bit dry and the icing was not right as choc crunch should be.
