Pelican Sands Scamander

Shelley is doing a great job here. The rooms are lovely. Furnishings are so nice. Having the water at your back door is amazing.

The grounds are wonderfully maintained.
Shelley was very helpful and kindly helped me with various things.
We have loved our stay here and our only disappointment is we can’t stay longer!

Enjoyed our stay at your venue. The out of back of room serenity and views very inducive to relaxation. Experienced sun rising out of sea and even saw pelicans getting their breakfast. Shower flexibility excellent, very comfy bed, friendly management. Only con - a bit difficult to locate as Pelican Sands words on sign not very prominent. Would return again.

After driving past Pelican Sands many times over the years and not thinking much of the place from the outside. I decided as a last min thing to give it a stay.
My call to book was very pleasantly answered by a lovely lady called Shelly.
Shelly was extremely accommodating and the booking was seamless!
I stayed in the spa room which on the inside was jaw dropping gorgeous with a stunning water view and private deck. The bed was super comfy and Sally went next level with adding bath salts and a candle as an extra spesh touch which is unheard of anywhere else I’ve stayed with a spa! Definitely a case of looks can be deceiving! This will be my number one place to stay when I return to Scamander! And next time I’ll hopefully get the opportunity to personally meet the warm and welcoming Shelly and let her know what a gem of a place Pelican Sands is!

Management very unreasonable only stayed one night out of 3 that we paid for as the place was not like it was advertised said was a 3 person spa which on arrival was told was out of order.
Curtins was full of mould.
Bbq was rusty unusable
Dirt all around the house aswell as cobwebs
Lights faulty
When turned sheets down was pubic hair and sand all in bed
Have photos of all what was mentioned above.
Management will not refund
Pelican sands scamander removed all what was mentioned on there facebook page aswell as photos.
Beware
Have to leave one star
But do not even deserve that would be a 0

No rooms a disgrace

Gross condition
The room was filthy, the linens were dirty, curtains molding, and bbq hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Refused to refund. Do not stay here.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Mold, cleanliness was just NOT there, sheets not changed, bathroom not cleaned. RUN THE OTHER WAY

Would leave 0 stars if possible. You provide your guests with a room that’s eaten up in mold so badly it’s even in the curtains. Pubic hair in the bed, the floor hadn't been swept in ages, dust piles and hair all in the corners. Shower hasn’t been cleaned and the bbq was covered in grime. The LEAST you should’ve have did was refund the guests but nope you didn’t even do that. Sent them on their way and blocked them from leaving a review. Very unprofessional and NASTY!

Excellent communication. Beautiful
and clean rooms. Very comfortable bed. The host even gave us a bucket to wash our toddler in. Was so thoughtful. Would highly recommend staying here.

The accommodation here is amazing! Very reasonable price for the ocean views, clean rooms, smart TV, large shower with plenty of pressure, mini bar has the works! The plants are amazing and some are even for sale!
Shelly done an amazing job and was very polite!
Will be back!

Very spacious house but the water is yellow for some reason, not enough hot water to fill the spa bath, can only fill half of it. Very friendly staff but the lock for the house is hard to use.

Very nice view from rooms and clean n tidy place for perfect trip. Love this place. We stayed in room1.
