Peking Restaurant

Went on the 11/01/2024 we had curry scallops, honey prawns, stir fried seasonal vegetables and fried rice and everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great and the restaurant was spotless.

Always an absolute delight coming here for a meal. Always amazing food and Always exceptional service. But I would like to shout out to a special someone tonight that just made our night more amazing. Montana you had us at laughter as soon as we walked in to the time we left. You absolutely sold us on your own thought's and hey we went with that and there was no food to take home.

Keep up the good work. Definitely keep on being you. MERRY CHRISTMAS

I can't comment on the atmosphere because we got takeaway, although my partner said they were really busy and staff were nice and friendly.
We got one meal (honey prawns battered) and spring rolls x4 (no sauce) for almost $40. Spring rolls were nice but prawns were very disappointing. No flavour at all, and the honey sauce was a tiny bit of honey, barely enough to taste, in water. The prices here are much more expensive than anywhere else but it doesn't reflect value. I think all the 5 star reviews are from years ago and they really need to improve the food or lower their prices.

I have always loved dining at Peking restaurant. However, this trip 23/03/23 for chowmein combination & special fried rice, takeaway, I had very bad experience. I am not sure if too much salt or something else, I was very very thirsty after eating the meal. (Unusual for me) I drank 5 litres of water that night. Migraine to. I just couldn't quench the thirst. I won't visit Peking restaurant again.

I have been going to this place since I was a kid and it's as good now as it was then. Love it.

The resteraunt and take aways were very busy, there was only one chef cooking but everything was amazing.

This is my go to Chinese restaurant in the Northern Suburbs. If you enjoy good Chinese food at decent prices, then they're definitely worth checking out. The Szechuan beef is my personal favorite!

By far the BEST and most CONSISTENT Chinese restaurant in Hobart area. Never ever disappointed.

Ok the service is good and food is great but for 4 people $250 is too expensive sorry wont come back mel and she knows me

Fantastic service, very accommodating and kind. The food was wonderful as well! Packed full of vegetables and meat. Really happy with everything.

Went in expecting amazing, walked out with ok. Staff were nice and accommodating. Food was 'ok', personally felt like there was no flavour. Felt food was overpriced for the quality of the food and is the main reason for 3 stars.

Great place to eat. We all meet up once a year just before Christmas and the meals are always great. Never had a problem after 21 years but visit there several times during the year. Best Chinese in Tasmania

Had the best dining experience last night the Chinese flounder was simply stunning with the vegetables and Chinese meats over the top complimented the meal just perfect, the combination soup was a beautiful starter, the banana fritters for desert topped off a lovely experience, Mel and her team were exceptional in there service, could not rate them highly enough. Thanks guys for a great night.

Service is magnificent. Long waits when dining in. They prioritise takeaways. I overheard one of the young waitresses say.

Great foods, good place for family. Staffs is extremely nice, great service as well. However, price is above the average, so don't expect it's cheap! Rate 4.5 stars but don't know how to do it:)
