Paesano Pizza & Pasta

Have been a big fan of Paesano Pizza until this evening
Ordered two Family Pizzas a BBQ Chicken & The Lot
Unfortunately, both pizzas weren’t cut properly & having to cut them ourselves the toppings just fell off everywhere & the pizza base was tough & chewy.
To top it off a long hair was found stuck to a slice of pizza
Have been going to Paesano on & off for a number of years & the pizzas have been great with the occasional overcooked pizza but yeah this was a bit much
Amy was great taking the order & the atmosphere was friendly & busy
Hoping this was just a bad one-off experience

Friends and I back from a long drive and called last minute for booking which they catered to within our time frames (Tues night). They gave us a nice table upstairs and led us there straight away. The atmosphere was very homey, beautifully set up with a nice view of the sky sunset. Our waitress was young but spoke really professionally and was super helpful in offering us wine tastings and menu recommendations. We ordered wine and the Di Luca pasta and it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Hobart (there for 5 days). It was a large portion and we could choose which pasta to have with it. Plenty of Parmesan to self serve. We asked for tiramisu take away and were very pleased with it (lots of delicious cream). Would absolutely recommend!

The pizza was amazing. One of the best pizza bases I have had in a long time. Good family restaurant

View from upstairs was awesome. The garlic bread was the best until the pizza with the lot came out. OMG, this pizza I wish I could take back home with me it was excellent, and there were so many flavours.

Delicious pizza, wine and Tiramisu, served by lovely and friendly staff. We enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere with lovely music. Thanks! We may have to come back to try the pasta before we leave Hobart!

Pizza, king prawn calzone & carbonara were absolutely spectacular.

Our favourite Italian restaurant hands down. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, beautiful chill music, great lighting, incredible food, great prices. Cannot wait to come back already!

Food is delicious. Variety of pizza and pastas. A medium sized pasta or pizza can easily be shared by two. Seating available on lower and upper level. Not a budget restaurant. If going as a group booking a table would be good. Unfortunately some Italian wine/liqueur that we wanted to try was unavailable.

My #1 pizza place go-to in Hobart. Super friendly staff! They also do GF and DF for any dietary requirements.

Food was amazing, staff fun and friendly, nice and cozy atmosphere. Must try the gnocchi special it is to die for!

Great Italian Restaurant, We are visiting from Brisbane and we’re blown away with the food, service and restaurant. Such a quaint, tidy and inviting place. The staff were amazing and very engaging and friendly. This was the best pizza we have ever eaten. 5 stars x

Breathtakingly delicious.

On a wintery afternoon walk we spontaneously decided to stop at Paesanos. The staff promptly greeted us with a warm enthusiam which continued throughout our seating. The menu presented options galore, complete with weekly specials and unique gourmet inventions. We had a magnificent prawn and boccinchini pizza which was cooked to crust-puff-perfection. It was prepared in hasty time and was the perfect serving size. The waitress who took care of us was exceptionally friendly and the kitchen staff were happy and involved in our dining experience. We will definitely becoming regulars Paesano's.

First time trying this nearby pizzeria, the pizza is very fluffy. DEFINITELY the best pizza I've had in Hobart. Owner is also kindly. So happy to have this authentic Italian restaurant in our community.

Some of the best pasta I've had. Ordered the Salmone Fettuccini and they did not skimp on the salmon (Tasmanian smoked). Great value for money. Was fresh and delicious. Usually a heavy carbohydrate meal leaves me feeling a bit bloated, but this didn't!

Food was delicious, service was awesome. I strongly recommend paesano if you want best pizza in hobart. Thank you chef and customer service team for great service.
