Absolutely fabulous food experience. Gourmet beautiful authentic Italian. Great service perfect location can not recommend highly enough!

Had lunch on the verandah, then back for a celebratory dinner with family. Food and service were perfect. Highly recommend - and very dog friendly, so you can combine with a walk along the Huon River at Franklin.

Excellent quality food in a fantastic location for a reasonable price. The owner is warm, welcome and accomodating with fresh produce grown in gardens you can see from your table.

A wonderful dinner experience sampling Martino and Sofia’s authentic and delicious Italian menu. The starter plate of home-made salumi together with the Caprese salad were a perfect way to showcase the locally sourced and produced food. The pasta and meats were equally impressive. Friendly service capped off a great dining experience!

I'm no expert, but this may be some of the best food I've ever had. Definately the best Italian! Beautiful setting, friendly and timly service. Was a highlight of our Tassy trip and worth the price for sure.

One of the best restaurants in the Huon Valley. Every single time we go the meals are incredible with the most friendly and professional servers. The menu changes seasonally with fresh local produce and the tiramisu is to die for. Highly recommend!

We went for a mid-week lunch and had window seats looking out at the Huon River. The small thoughtful and changing menu shows off great produce and solid technique. Add the very pleasant and comfortable dining spaces and a good value drinks list to make it a must try restaurant. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I want to come back for dinner so I can try the rest of the menu.

Osteria has become our favourite restaurant and well worth the drive from Hobart. The service is attentive and warm whilst the food is simply delicious. The ingredients are local and fresh. Good wholesome authentic Italian food.

LOVE LOVE LOVED all of all 3 seafood dishes, desserts, wine selection and deserts! The service from the owners was warm, fun and so pleasant. Will come back again and again and again.
