Excellent location for touring around Launceston and Northern Tasmania. Very friendly donkeys who love carrots.

What a lovely farm stay park!
Excellent for kids, plenty of room to run, ride bikes, always a cricket match late afternoons.
Well looked after animals to pat and look at.donkeys, sheep, goats and rabbits.
Powdered, unPowdered, tent, overnite sites. Plenty of room for big motorhomes. Also lots of space between sites.
New amenities, unisex toilets. NO BATHROOM/SHOWERS.
A cafe on-site, but we didn't go.
$40 power site $20 unpowered per night. $5 pits to hire pn and buy fire wood.
Online booking for powered sites or call-in or phone.
Drive into Launceston under 10 minutes.

Great farm stay in Launceston. Very convenient location, friendly campground with ample of space. Fresh water, dump point, fire pits provided (for a small fee). $20 per night per site is awesome too.

Beautiful location with well looked after grounds. New toilet facilities and dump station. Walks onsite and keep your eyes peeled for the sea-eagle nest! Petting zoo for kids with cafe nearby. Pot fires for hire. We had a wonderful stay! Very hospitable owners! Will certainly stay again! Thank you so much!

The place took us completely by surprise! A fantasic location, open farmland views, no crowding, close to town, has it's own restaurant, great walks around.

We stayed for one night and were absolutely surprised with how large the area is! The farm and the animals! Would definitely stay again. As a photographer, it was great to be able to take snaps of the donkeys too

What a great place to stay. We love this place. So handy to Launceston and all of its attractions. Closed for winter, but do stop by and stay when it is open. We loved it and the animals. Water, dumppoint, toilets, powered sites, unpowered sites, and the best hosts. Thank you so much, Old Macs. We'll be back!

Stayed here overnight in our motorhome. Were surprised how close to town Old Macs is. Really nice grounds and toilets were as clean as I've seen. Great value, highly recommend a stay. Some nice walking trails available within the grounds, didn't get a chance to do any of them.

1st in best dressed for the non powered sites
There is a goods train that does go past at night
Only lasts for 2 mins
Has a dump point and toilet but no showers atm

The manager was extremely helpful in regards to my health situation. He even drove me to the airport and stored my caravan whilst I flew to Brisbane. Park is wonderful. I can't rate this place highly enough. Thank you.

Great base to park up while visiting Launceston and surrounds.
Plenty of room for large vans. Access to water throughout the park. No booking required.
We rolled into the park around Midday and there was plenty of sites
Powered sites available- (which I’m sure you must book)
Great walking tracks around the lake to Exercise Moe. There is a hobby farm for the kids with feeding times and tours available.
We started and finished our 6 week lap of Tassie at Old Mac’s.
Highly recommend this place to pull up for 3-5 days there is plenty to see and do!

Great caravan park, we had a family gathering of 10 vans, the owners saved the sites for us to camp as a group it was great. Facilities clean, bind emptied regularly. Would certainly stay again

An awesome self contained park with new clean toilets. Large areas to park at, up to around 130 sites. No booking avail or needed for unpowered but need to book powered. For unpowered it's best to get in early. Owners are great and very welcoming. View is epic especially at the cafe/restaurant at the top of the farm. Plus there is a small animal farm to feed for kids (and adults) The cafe has great coffee and awesome food. Highly suggest this spot. Next time we get back to Tassie we will be staying here again. Highly suggest!
Great location close to town and only $15/night!

Top Notch! Beautiful well set up Motorhome and caravan sites! Some with power for $35 a night and non powered sites for $15 night and a refill of water to ur tank for $2! Nice walk around the place toilets available, gas refills swap and go and a dump point for non chemical sewerage! Cannot fault this place at all! We stayed a week here and I am over the moon about what’s here! A1 stop near Launceston! Don’t miss out! Awesome!

A beautiful piece of paradise right on Launceston. Perfect for all types of camping, there are powered and unpowered sites easy to access. Bec and Lucas are amazing and ready to help however they can! We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Very nice place to stay, lovely walks birds and wildlife, conveniently close to town, easy drive in and out.

Can't beat the place. Water on tap. Cheap price. Have to be self contained but a great quiet place to rest up for a few.
