Oh my goodness, take the 'feed me' degustation option. So very delicious. I don't drink alcohol but my partner reports it was great quality. You also need to know that the service was amazing. The staff were very knowledgeable about the food and wine as well as being nothing short of delightful all night!

I wouldn't take kids, and there is no way a wheelchair would fit comfortably inside. There are seats outside though.

Accommodated for my partners dietary needs without issue and didn’t make us feel like we were being painful. Super knowledgeable and sweet staff. The food was ridiculously good too. Risotto was amazing

Hey guys, atmosphere and venue is great - food is just not good enough. You can’t serve something described as grilled when you have an open kitchen and all electric stoves/oven. The lamb we ate was like rubber and full of tendons. The menu was not clear and the pasta was tough and flavor not good. A near full organic/biodynamic wine list is not user-friendly either. You have a venue that could be really good otherwise.

What a find! Great atmosphere with funky music, terrific food and so cosy. Brilliant service. We loved it and would recommend highly. It’s the kind of neighbourhood bistro everybody wants at the end of their street

Brilliant neighbourhood restaurant with friendly and relaxed service. Every one of the five dishes we shared for lunch was a winner!

Fantastic evening, intimate friendly thoughtful and professional service and the food was just fantastic, up the top of my Hobart list absolutely, and the wine list is spot on.

This little hidden gem delivered beautiful food, drink and service. I cannot fault a single part of our experience. The atmosphere is fabulous- dimly lit, with vinyl records playing to add to the ambience.

Had the pleasure of eating here recently and selected the dark mofo set menu.

The food was outstanding and the service was just as good. This place is a must go to when visiting Hobart, bookings essential as it is a small restaurant.

Has to be the best meal I have had in years. Front of house girls were excellent, attentive and helpful. It was great to see the kitchen working with Matt keeping a keen eye on everything sent out, he even introduced himself and served dishes and still had time to keep the record player moving.

Everything was so considered! Lucy our waitress was delightful with the best hair in Hobart! The food and variety, to share was perfection. Feel really lucky to have had such a wonderful table that observed the superb chefs. Aesthetically pleasuring in every corner. Music choice and sound quality, exquisite! I just wish I saved belly for ice cream. But that natural sparkling was banging delish.mmmm

We got in fairly late, kitchen had just closed but the staff made sure to accommodated us and nothing was too much trouble. Incredibly friendly and attentive service. Felt cosy and comfortable as soon as we were greeted at the door. Food was amazing with amazing vibes. Just highly recommend. 11/10

Phenomenal place. These folks are smashing on all fronts.
Service, bar and kitchen are on point. Absolutely must visit. Five stars is an understatement for Ogee!

Great little gem. A cute little wine bar with very interesting and enjoyable drink selections, good humored staff and beautiful food that will probably see you eating more than you planned as you watch the food go out to other patrons and get food envy. No surprise with this one as the proprietor Matt has a reputation in hospitality in Hobart. Make sure you arrive early to ensure yourself a seat.

We had almost every dish on the menu. And it was sensational, on our visit to Tasmania we basically went to the top 10 restaurants and Ogee was added as a last minute addition. It was the best. We were jaws to the floor impressed. Such a lovely ambience & am obsessed with the gorgeous bathroom. The best staff I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant with excellent wine suggestions. Devastated that we found Ogee at the end of our trip as I would have gone back every single day.

Anothet hidden gem in Hobart. The restaurant offers a gourmet meal, great service and unique atmosphere. We ordered varieties of finger food and all of them are very unique and tasty. In additon, they have a great selection of drinks. Make sure you come early, otherwise it’s always full.

Sensational food, wine & atmosphere. I would highly recommend for 2ppl if you arrive at 5pm.

The only downside was waiting 2+hrs for a 4person table, as it is walk in only. Couples were pritorised who arrived after us. The lovely staff could only estimate waiting time as several people sat for the whole night.

In the end it was worth the wait!
