14Such a wonderful place to visit for young and old.the guides are top notch.love love love x
Calling it premium seating is bogus when one of your booked seats is behind a pillar, but nothing noted when booking.
Seating up the back in the stalls, first raised area is also NOT premium seating but that’s what you will get charged despite limited views due to being a largely flat area. Plenty of backs of peoples’ heads though.
Not being able to choose your seats is just not on. I think Wrest Point is better. Disappointing.
Nice theatre, well managed and clean with impressive lighting and sound system. Good for small to moderate size live performances.
First time here, at the very front! Great vibes all around and very friendly staff. More international acts need to come down here often. Glad to have this venue in town!
Awesome, went for a concert.
Access to bathrooms and bars- perfect place for concerts
Beautiful historic 1916 theatre which regrettably now has an uncertain future. The Hobart City Council has gave permission for the current owner to partially demolish it. Absolute travesty.
TSO concert was great.
Really enjoyed the performances
Venue could do with a dusting over
Disappointed with the lack of crowd control, drunken people talking loudly over the musicians, and being served extra alcohol.
Nice enough venue. Sound travelled well. Cashless bar with very limited variety of alcoholic beverages.
As a music venue this place is absolutely brilliant! The sound is incredible and the whole space for the audience is great. The staff are really nice and refreshments aren't too badly priced for a concert venue. For bands, the stage does appear to be huuuge so there's plenty of room for them to run around on! Lighting is also great and just adds to the experience.
Attended the Grand Opening night and was not disappointed. The Hanging Gardens is a breath of fresh air to the inner city area and provides a brilliant new and alternative vibe for locals and tourists to go. There were great choices for food/snacks and a decent beverage list. Considering how quickly this Venue was out together, they've exceeded themselves. ️
Gigs during Dark Mofo have been good.
Sort out the dangerous downstairs canyon between the bars.
Fix up the toilets.
Stock up on Dark Ale. You've run out at every gig I've been to
Good place to see live international music. Saw Fat Freddy's Drop, Lucinda Williams, Sharon Jones.sound is best in front rather than up back
Easy in and out, easy to get to the bars, can see the stage from everywhere, loved it, I'd go to a gig there anytime!
