Nightcap at Carlyle Hotel

Noisy children running up n down hall first night here, disruptive. Not sure what policy is but didn't appear to have adult supervision.
Rooms are dated and very basic but definitely adequate enough for sleeping etc. Bed was super comphy! Excellent water pressure in the shower.
Would have loved a tea towel and cloth so I could wipe bench after making coffee

Very clean and spacious room. Kind staff, was a good and comfortable days there! Totally Recomended ️

This place is a bit of a let down with a room that smelt like old socks and left over hookers?
The restaurant food was a bit lackluster with me experiencing a very died out chicken schnitzel, with a portion serve that leaves a lot to be desired given the price tag.
The wait staff appeared to be not interested in what they were doing or trying to achieve?
The beer is good and cold and tasted just fine

Definitely no complaints good reasonable price added bonus of hotel food and bars close to Hobart city

A very bad experience. The sensor lights in the corridor are only at the beginning. There are no lights when you walk out of the room. It's like a scene in a horror movie. There is a strong strange smell as soon as you enter the room. There is a big gap between the room and the photo. Room The door has almost no soundproofing and you can clearly hear the sounds from outside.
But the bed is comfortable

What great value! The room's are so spaciouse. The staff are great. Nicole was especially nice and goes out of here way to make us feel comfortable and at home.extra bonus points for that. And the free drink vouchers are a big bonus. Its accomadation that keeps on giving. Very highly recommended. 5 stars

I will be coming back. It was perfect for the family to pick us up from airport. Plane was late food was kept warm. Service was excellent. A very big thank you from both our family's.

Bed was clean but room was damp and smelled. We used the heater but it didn't make any difference. Andrew could try breaking out in a smile now and then I'm sure it would do him the world of good.

If you haven't slept on a King Coil mattress you are missing out had the best night sleep ever. Having the restaurant and bar close handy was also awesome. Definitely recommended to stay here

My son had massive party at the Carlyle me and my husband's family had best birthday party especially our nephew's and neice had a great time and our family are very happy with their meals they were are very quick easy to serve or meals were so happy thankyou again lov simcich family

Great choice of food. Excellent senior's menu at a very reasonable price. Food well presented and good service.

I would give 3 star for Nightcap at Carlyle Hotel but I would love to give 4 star for ‘Andrew’ the person at the reception for his hospitality.
About room- Bed is super comfortable. Room has got TV (with Netflix), AC, Fridge & Iron. There is no view from balcony at all and bathroom is ok.

Simple room with smallish rooms and king size bed. Small bathroom but pra and well looked after. Loved it

Group of 15. Meals were delicious and timely. Only one feral child who screamed for about 15 mins. Good variety on menu and plenty of space for all of us. Warm. Staff friendly and well organised.

Sent nachos back. Corn chips terrible. Cheese not melted and whole nachos came out cold. Was sent back to kitchen and replaced with a bowl of soggychips. Roast beef ok, sweet n sour pork ok but soggy batter. $50 not well spent

Service was great especially for a public holiday and the food was quite good. I'd like to say i was a little disappointed with the amount for the cost involved however it was just my crumbed scallops as my kids and wife had way bigger portions.

But great food i must admit. Has a good area for the kids to play which is indoors and fully in closed with only 1 entry/exit which is right next to the food area. Which is great for piece of mind as we all know kids get bored easy while they wait.

Awfull. One of the first (of eighteen) to order, but last to receive meal. They ordered the wrong food. Very ordinary meal, but they gave me a small voucher which expires in June because of the delay.
Not the first bad experience there, but will be the last.
