We could not have found a more special location to celebrate my partners birthday. Every detail was so perfect - the view of the lake, the outdoor bath, the picnic basket, rug, pillows & blankets. We loved enjoying our bbq dinner by the water surrounded by ducks, chickens, birds, and rabbits. Couldn’t be happier

Naivasha Cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, it’s easy to feel right at home. Being from interstate we enjoyed seeing the odd wallaby and sitting outside watching the native birds. We didn’t want to leave.

So instagrammable, you forget to take photos.
I lost count of how many times I said “oh my gosh! ” this weekend.
Naivasha Cottage has set some new expectations when travelling for me now. A gorgeous and easy drive from Launceston airport brings you to a beautiful secluded mix of rainforest, bush and farm land. When arriving at Naivasha, there was a gorgeous sunny glow over the cottage, as your eyes move across to absorb the surroundings you discover the stunning glittering pond with a pair of ducks and incredible bush land backdrop. Entering this immaculate home there are so many carefully curated pieces that draw your attention to the decor and then you enter the lounge and the large crystal clean windows display the pond like two pieces of artwork. The tv set up to play music as we walked in was such a thoughtful touch and really sets the tone of the cottage. All of the bedrooms were homely and beautifully made up. We even had hot water bottles in the drawers!
After exploring the home we were craving a coffee and we were not disappointed. There was an assortment of things for hot beverages in the cupboard and milk already in the fridge.
It was a beautiful cottage for a family of 6 plus a baby to enjoy and would be just as spectacular for a couple or smaller family. We loved seeing the rabbits, kangaroos, ducks and chickens on the property and were so taken back by how well this little cottage nestles into nature. I cannot wait to come back and I wouldn’t change a thing. We made a tonne of memories. Thank you Naivasha cottage!

We absolutely loved our stay at Naivasha cottage. With the two beautiful white ducks, chickens to feed and rabbits hopping around, all by the warmth of the fire, the cottage is a magical place. We are so thankful for the care that has gone into making Naivasha cottage the retreat that it is. Our little family loved it. Thank you for making it so welcoming and special

I'm completely taken away by how beautiful Naivasha Cottage is, it was exactly what we needed after a busy month travelling around Tasmania. We felt right at home as soon as we got there, it has everything that we needed and then some. The cottage was very unique, every room and corner told a story. We loved feeding the chickens and ducks in the morning, right by the lovely pond. Watched skippy hop by as we relaxed by the fireplace. Thank you Linda for creating such a peaceful and cosy place for us to unwind. We highly recommend this heavenly place!

Time slows down at Naivasha Cottage. The peaceful environment and the stunning cottage itself gives you the most relaxing and tranquil opportunity to reconnect with yourself and nature, as well as spend beautiful quality time with a partner, friend or family. I could not recommend this stunning stay enough, it provided me with the most relaxing weekend I could have asked for. Equipped with everything we needed. Hassle free directions and communication from the lovely host. 10/10 experience.

Naivasha cottage is something right out of a fairy tale. It's set beside a peaceful pond, around which all sorts of chickens, ducks and a variety of woodland creatures can be seen and interacted with. The immaculate interior is kept toasty with an central fireplace so you feel very cozy at all times. It's well stocked with books and board games so you have something to do even when it's pouring outside. The hosts are also friendly and very accommodating so definitely give this place a visit.
P. S. Keep an eye out for Tasmanian's native flightless bird - the turbo chicken!
