BRING WARM CLOTHING. At the top of the mountain it was 5 degrees Celsius. And I came in a wind breaker and shorts. The views were amazing when you're brave enough to look away from the road. Definitely an experience that I don't regret.

Great easy ride and the tour guides were great. Accomodated the fact it was very windy and started the tour a little lower which was good. Would recommend

This tour group is a major inconvenience to every motorist trying to drive down the mountain. They (cyclists) don't pull over when it's possible to allow Cars to pass and the main vehicle with the bike trailer follows them slowly down the mountain with its hazard lights on causing a huge backlog of cars. Totally selfish and inconsiderate tour group.

Loved it.we just did it today and had loads of fun.the descent can be a. Bit daunting initially but once you get a hang of it, it's great fun! Chose to do the off beat road which was tricky and great test of your mountain biking skills.the bike guide was guiding us at all points.highly recommend to do this.one too though is to wear full pants and warm clothes. We had almost hail pounding down our face.thankfully the tour came with gloves included.

Only consider this if the weather is 100% clear. We called and asked for refunds due to the weather yet the owner refused. We were then taken to the top in torrential rain, that bad that we couldn't even start riding from the top. We started our descent with no views of Hobart in the slightest and in very unsafe conditions! This ride should not have been allowed to go ahead. The bikes were sliding around the corners at high speed and we had almost no visibility due to the needle-like rain. This is also around blind corners into on coming traffic. FURIOUS WE WERE EXPECTED TO RISK OUR SAFETY TO PROVIDE $75 PER PERSON TO THE BUSINESS. The owner has no care for his customers, that is crystal clear.

Lovely fellow, and the ride is nice provided one had mountain bike trail experience, but getting to the grit of it, the ride is very poorly explained by the guide, in explanations, he washes over critical areas with no clue to his clientele he had ron the day, and rides ahead with no care in the world to your safety, that's totally upon the shoulders of the safety van who will find you sprawled across the road eventually.overall.good luck! I say.and that more safety guidelines than you'll get from this mob.

An excellent activity- our driver fred and bike guide Michael both provided friendly and technical expert assistance. It was a great experience and their preparation of the bikes and the training and background they they provided meant that our ride was enjoyable and safe. The views as we descended were outstanding, and the ride invigorating. Riding skills varied greatly (some were road tour experienced) as did ages (i am 75 and our youngest rider was around 12 years old) but their management of the ride accommodated all of us very well. Thoroughly recommended

I have ridden down Mt Wellington twice, both with this tour company. They cater for all abilities and accompany all their guests down the mountain safely.

The tour takes you through bits of Hobart which I didn't expect to be there and even off road (if you want to).

A great way to experience another side of Hobart.
