16Thank you to the reception staff who helped me even though I couldn''t do something on the site. They were more thna happy to follow up after my appointment. A quick and easy way to have a brief consult with my GP.
$75 for a 3 minute prescription renewal. Feel pretty ripped off. I have a great doctor here but I'll be looking at leaving the practice. Makes me feel sick for people who are required to visit their doctor for prescriptions on a regular basis. The only saving grace is that the administrative staff are lovely.
I'm always so thankful for the service, professionalism and great advice from Mountain Retreat General Practice. Thanks for all you do.
Dr McCoid is fabulous (I'm sure the others are too but I haven't seen them), and the Admin team were friendly and efficient.
The waiting area is tidy and nicely set up, and the atmosphere and aesthetic is relaxing.
There was parking in the streets close by but if you have mobility requirements consider calling ahead to ask to use the staff car park maybe?
I was handled professionally and in good time and the practice is a little more 'homely' than some of the other sterile offices I have attended in the past.

I always find the practice staff and doctors at Mountain Retreat highly professional and helpful. Even during the busiest times I have always been able to see a doctor. How they all can maintain a compassionate approach considering the culture of unwellness is nothing short of amazing. I can highly recommend the health services provided at this practice.

Caring doctors who take their time listen and diagnose. Usually running to time. Even receptionists have a bad day someday. Be compassionate yourself and put yourself in the other person's place.
Incredibly rude reception staff. Had to wait over 45 minutes both times I visited. Never going back again.
