9 Wonderful afternoon or morning location. Easy walk, nice scenery. Quick local walk that give you some nice views and gets the legs moving.
They have made edits to the Montgomery track at the top. They are a good edition
It's an uphill climb with very steep surfaces at the end. Trails are not completely marked but mixed with the road and cycle tracks. Be careful with slippery dirt and loose rocks. Take water with you. Breathtaking views at the end and worth the walk.
A amazing hike. The walk to the peak is quite slippery and very steep. The hike is totally worth it on a clear day you can see far into the distance
Beautiful hike starting with some small falls and cascades at base of track, track is narrow but we'll formed, gets rockier towards the top and the last 300m very steep with loose rock under foot, view is worth it though on a clear day!
Fern walk was stunning. The bush walk was lovely fairly easy. Once you hit the turn off it got a little steep. Then the last stretch to the top was a challenge
The view at the top and a seat to sit on and enjoy the scenery was beautiful
Great bike track - well signed. Reminiscent of a Derby track but with a bit more climbing. Intermediate level. Most people come for the lower tracks and bike park but this is a gem.
For the view that you get on his mountain, it is well worth the climb, (climb to view ratio is good)
as it's a short half hour climb and has really close up views of the coast including Burnie Devonport penguin and Ulverstone.
Great walk, with a amazing view at the end. Make sure you have grippy shoes, as the last section is quite steep.
1.5 hours return (as stated on the sign) is probably a little quick unless you're super fit. Is quite steep at times! But view is amazing and well worth the walk!
