Great location for its price. A tiny improvement would be maybe put more hooks in the toilets?

Pros:
- Fantastic Location
- Warm welcome at check in
- Plenty of amenities (kitchen, bathrooms, free parking)
- Hot Water!
- Plenty of powerpoints bed side, as well as a personal mini fan

Cons
- The Bed! It was extremely soft and offered no back support. I had to leave after 1 night because of the back pain the bed caused
- Sheets are very rustly/loud. Anytime I or anyone moved in the bed, it was very loud and would wake others.

I would stay here if you can get used to the very soft beds, the location and value is unbeatable. Otherwise, maybe look somewhere else.

It was perfect!
The hostel is managed by a family, sometime you can see the 2 little daughters in the house like if it was hers.
Everybody is really kind, good vibes and the hostel doesn't look like an hostel. It's like a big typical house in Batterie Point, which is the best location.
Really quiet and intimate, the decoration is so cute! It's a French style and I swear I felt like at home! And I'm from France!
Everything was clean, beds are so big for a single bed and very comfortable.
So just don't hesitate to have a stay on this fabulous hostel!

We had a really good time here. First booking was easy, I needed to change my dates and did so without hassle. Price was awesome for what we got and it was so homely. Lovely service and really good location

$220 for a night in the queen room, no wonder Airbnb is popular in Hobart. Otherwise the room was clean and very simple, shared bathrooms and toilets were clean as well. Just overpriced for what it is.

Absolutely loved this place! Felt like a really communal home thanks to Ant who makes you feel welcome the second you walk on the door. All the guest were friendly, the kitchen area is great for meals and chatting with the other guests, the shared bathrooms and toilets are clean and it’s really well positioned to be close to everything in Hobart, while having plenty of parking if you’ve got a car for day trips. It didn’t seem like the usual kind of hostel guests who went here - it seemed a more calm atmosphere but still fun and friendly. Would stay here any time I’m back in Hobart

Best backpackers I've stayed in!
Feels so homely, clean and warm. Beds are really comfy, kitchen and amenities are great. Showers are nice and hot. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Price to stay is very reasonable. Only things I will mention is that there isn't a lot of space for personal belongings or any undercover place to hang wet clothes on rainy days. Overall a great stay and I highly recommend!

We had a terrible experience at this hostel. When I first arrived at reception (with my 2 children) I was charged for a private room as I had expected. It soon became apparent we were in mixed gender share room, with 3 men. When I questioned Antony he became verbally aggressive and said he had a no refund policy & we could leave if we weren't happy. I was staying with my 2 children and it was late in the evening so we stayed. It was super uncomfortable and almost felt unsafe. I have since attempted to follow up with Antony to at least request a refund of the difference between the private room and the share room. His response "take it further if you want but I don't do refunds'. I would strongly recommend against staying at this place.

Lovely place, extra parking space, Antony is an enthusiastic owner, always full of energy! You can also get free stuffs here, which were left by previous guests.

Amazing hostel! I stayed there 2 times and it was always a great experience. Everything is super clean and tidy, the location is great! The building is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable ️ I would definitely comeback!

What a great place. I stayed here twice. Great location. Ample spaces to park your car, which is amazing in Hobart. Rooms were clean. I stayed in a single room because I'm too old for bunk beds now. Stunning views of Mt wellington from the upper balcony. The host was great. Very friendly and polite. Also he 2 little bulldogs are great company too if you are missing your pets at home. Only thing I can complain about which you can't do anything about is the creaky floorboards. But that doesn't affect my rating. I've been back before and I'll be back again. Thank you to the host.

Fridges in the kitchen to store food.coffee and a full kitchen to use.rooms are warm, sheets are always clean.can't fault it.

I cannot speak highly enough about this accommodation. Everything you could possibly need or desire is there. The host is a delight and could not be more helpful. Free parking and you can walk to the harbour/city centre easily. The bedding/towels/property is spotlessly clean and well maintained. - Thank you

The bunk house is like a sharehouse. The location is amazing, walking distance to Salamanca square in the beautiful battery point. The rooms and shared areas were clean but the bathroom was not as clean, convenient or functional as we would have liked. The walls are also paper thin so if you are a light sleeper maybe consider a different place. We were up and out early so we managed but if you like to hang out where you stay it's not that private. Everyone there is friendly and you're free to come and go as you please.

Most expensive hostel I have ever stayed at. Not the best one. It is a good hostel, clean, confortable and in a good location but I don't think it offers anything to justify the price. Vibe is a bit weird with the owner living on site.

Very comfortable beds and very good parking and location to the CBD. Antony helped me when I was in a bind last minute due to a random unforeseen circumstance, however, there should be an enforcement of a curfew time to avoid other residents make excessive noise for those who're trying to sleep for the night.

Best hostel in Australia, reasonable price in Hobart, located near the Salamanca market, closed to the CBD. The host Anthony is really friendly, the room is spacious with natural light through the window. It’s very tidy and quiet place.
