We had a great stay here, beautiful location and lovely site. We paid AUD20 a night for an unpowered site for tent. There's a camp kitchen with large fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and hotplate. Hot showers are AUD 1 for 6 mins and there are washing machines and dryers. We found everything clean. There are fire pits around and you can buy wood on site. Oh and the platypus came to say hi!
There's a small shop in Mole Creek (around 4km away) as well as two bars and Deloraine is a well equipped town about a 25 min drive away. We used the place as a base for Cradle Mountain which is a windy hours drive away. Wish we had more than two nights!

This was our favourite stay in Tassie! We had a beautiful spot right on the creek where we even saw a platypus. The amenities were extremely clean and stocked with everything we needed. Incredible location and views all around the campground.

We rolled in pretty late on our motorbikes, way past check in time, and were welcomed most warmly! Sara was great fun, very hospitable and we felt right at home. Thanks so much! Next time we'll come with more time.

Fantastic clean well maintained Caravan Park.
Beautiful owners, Sara and Glenn accommodate their guests with friendly personalities and helpfulness.
Large sites Clean amenities and a newly renovated cabin that is perfect for those who don't have a van/tent.
I missed seeing a platypus but despite that the creek was amazing and refreshingly cold/freezing on a very hot day.
Congratulations Sara an Glenn

$20 for an unpowered campsite, use of showers and WiFi. The staff were lovely. Beautiful views of the mountains and there's a creek running through the park with wildlife like platypus, fish and birds. Short walk to the Cafe, short drive to King Solomon's Cave. Clean toilets and showers. Well maintained campsites.

Excellent customer service from the park owner. Good amenities and a beautiful site. We were told of "Platypus" sitings in the area and the creak that "babbled" at the rear of our pitch didn't disappoint - we spent a good 2 hours watching the Platypus swim, feed and dive as we chatted to other campers!

Its a small and cozy caravan park, with the owner do taking care of you. The site can be slightly muddy during this raining season. Our Campervan got stuck in mud at 8am and the owner drove his 4WD to pull and save us from the obstacle. Deeply appreciate his assistance.

This caravan park is highly recommended to stay in if you are driving motorhomes and planning to head for cradle mountain or passing by Mole Creek.

I loved this place! It’s tiny and charming, with fire pits and camping by the charming creek. Owners were friendly and accommodating and the showers were hot.

Our family pitched a tent over the labour day long weekend at unpowered site by the beautiful creek at Mole Creek Caravan Park. The people next to our site spotted platypus during dawn/dusk. It was the most magical camp ground/ caravan park I have stayed. Great amenities whilst enjoying the great TAS wilderness. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay! Beautiful, open, private camp sites on the river, not to mention the 2 owners are hilarious and very helpful. We arrived late at night due to issues with our van and they still went and arranged a fire pit and firewood for us and even helped us start the fire! Clean facilities as well. Great stay overall would recommend to all!

Great camping spot! The best in the area. We initially spent 1 night but came back for a second night after exploring the Cradle Mt as we loved it so much, we had our own fire pit and creek views.
Would highly recommend to stay in this place if you’re in the area.
Cute coffee spot just 2 min away.

Located on the outskirts of Mole Creek is the most easy going and smallish camping ground we have ever been to. Lambs and chickens roamed through the park and a red blue heeler called Clyde ran the place. Small park, but large, spacious sites and great fire pits. Our van was parked right next to a lovely running creek with cloud drenched mountains as a backdrop. The relatively new owners are super friendly and are really looking after the place. A beautiful, relaxing spot. Highly recommend.
