Got stuck in Hobart on a Sunday night 25/07/22 when our flights were delayed this was the only place open around 930pm and wow how lucky were we pizza and service was sensational.just claiming costs from JetStar and remembered i hadn't done a review yet

Literally went above and beyond to deliver straight to my hotel. Amazing flavours, delicious pizza and pasta. Thank you!

Travelling through Hobart and I had a craving for pizza on this cold winters night and after reading the high reviews, thought we would check it out for ourselves and so glad we did.

First of all, the service is outstanding, the young lady was very professional, easy to talk to and friendly. She even came out and turned on the heating for us and offered us cold water. She is an asset to this pizza place.

Didn't take long for our food to arrive on our table.

I love my pizzas and have had pizzas from all over the world (USA, NZ and of course AUS for example) and deadset, this is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life hands down. The base was a perfect thickness, the quality ingredients used (the prosciutto was so damm good and loved how there was a good amount on the pizza), the sauces, the flavours, it was all perfect (we ordered the Connoisseur and Buffalo Bill). It was all mouthwatering and loved it all. Cooked to perfection.

I could not fault one thing at all.

What also really impressed me was the way the pizza was cut (bite size pieces I think they called it). I will be honest, at first I was like will this work but after eating pizza this way, I will always only eat pizza this way. Brilliant idea.

The pizza cafe/restaurant has a simple layout yet elegant and very welcoming/cosy and I loved it. Felt very welcoming.

There is a great range of beer to choose from.

You know how when you travel and you find a place you love and next time you return you go back, well this place has done that to me.

If you are a local or travelling through Hobart, I highly recommend/suggest you check this place out, you won't regret it (unfortunately I will need to wait until I am in town next, am from VIC).

Great pizza, some of the best we had in a while. Just unfortunate that the wait staff had no clue, the classic wrong order to the wrong table, then some free-bee pizzas came out to other tables for the wait. We also had to chase this up with only 3 tables seated wasn't that busy, worst part, No apology for the stuff up, just a longer wait for the remaking of the pizza took about 40 mins. Table wasn't cleared until we started eating, super sad face, wasn't expecting world class dining, but just lacking the basics on service, which in my books holds more weight over the food. Maybe get table buzzers, then you don't have to worry about staffing.

If anyone ever says anything remotely bad about this place I will have to strongly disagree. All the staff on when my friends and I were there were just amazing. They were so nice and empathetic more than anything. It was the first time I had been there and I’m already craving to go back. The food always amazing of course, but beyond everything the staff and their kindness were simply the best part. On a side note: I could tell that the younger staff loved to work at this place and that they felt comfortable simply because the owner himself was a great man. When you treat the junior staff with respect, kindness and compassion it really reflects back on the customers. Seriously love this place!

I was very excited to eat here but am writing this review as I sit here waiting for my pizza 45 minutes after we ordered. The menu is a bit limited and is overly complicated. The staff were very passive and after waiting close to an hour we were told they didn’t have mushrooms/ingredients for our pizza. Very disappointing. Got a refund.

Just had the best calamari and chips from this pizzeria. So crunchy and fresh. Great beer garden, varied menu and quick service for lunch during the week!

Soggy wings, sour pizza!? Weird flavours in and out, the staff was nice but food is definitely not their forte.edit: changed to 1 star from the passive aggresive owner reply, how can you expect people to return with that kind of sarcastic response? Not to mention all the typos yikes!

I loved the option to select different toppings, and thanks to the kind owner who personally delivered my pizza when I made an error on the app. Thank you.

Some of the best vegan pizza I've ever had; everything was charamelised beautifully, including the cheese, which you don't often get in the vegan world

Incredible food and service. The gentleman running this place is a legend who takes genuine pride in his food.highly recommend, will definitely be back. Do yourself a favour and visit this hidden gem.

Waited for an hour. No food came. Hadn’t started cooking and didn’t have the ingredients. Despite this, nobody told us this and I recommend not to go here. The family that was there before us also commented on the slow time for the meal to arrive. We were also the only ones there when the other family left and yet the pizza wasn’t being cooked. If you want food on your plate or your trip to Hobart not ruined, I suggest steering clear of this mess. Go to Mamos pasta instead, it was awesome.

Waited almost an hour with no sign of food. When we asked how much longer it would take we were told they didn’t have the ingredients for our order. We were then asked if we would like to order something else… No thanks, we’ll cut our losses and move on with our lives.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever had!
The staff are super helpful and friendly, bases made in house, the toppings are to die for, cosy outdoor dining and a great music playlist! Would highly recommend going to metro pizza if you live or are visiting Hobart!

Really good pizza! Crustiness and flavour is on point. But stand out is the way they cut the pizza! Revolutionised the way I eat pizza! I will never cut a pizza any different again! The best! Also threw in a free garlic bread for us! Legends!

Had a great pizza, also manager very friendly. I feel sorry for alot of places in Hobart, you get a 1 star rating Because the food was a bit late.or the service was a little off that night. And people get on here think they are a MasterChef/expert of restaurants and food and give a poor rating.

This place is incredible! Great vibes, delicious freshly made pizza, reasonably priced, right in the center of town with a nice view. Adam, the owner, was incredibly friendly as well, keen for a yarn & even brought us a round of beers for free! 10/10 would recommend!

Vegans don't bother, the pizzas here are trash. Online ordering isn't great either.
