Meal Machines Cafe

Food quality seems to have taken a dive since they started including non gluten free items. The waffles were a menu fav that they stopped making. When I saw they were back I returned for a visit for the first time since they cancelled them. They now taste like packed mix and the whole meal was just shockingly average.

We just had a brilliant birthday party at Meal Machines. The food was fabulous, and the staff were very easy to deal with and made the day run that much smoother.

Stopped by with a group to eat in. Slow service and smallest meal for the price. Staff were trying their best but it was very busy.

Great place with a indoor playground and jumping castles and gluten free food open late on Friday nights

I went with my 2 young kids to the Meal Machines Cafe in Rosny park today to meet some friends. I called yesterday to book a table but when I arrived this morning at 10am they had misplaced my booking, luckily there were still tables available. We placed our order for some food and we’re waiting about 40 minutes. We were told there was a birthday party on so it was extremely busy which I understand but it was an extremely long wait with hungry kids. Then the kitchen finished up their orders.we still hadn’t received our food. They had also misplaced my order. It was very frustrating having to wait so long with my young children screaming at me for being hungry. The staff did not offer any compensation or anything, it would have been great to have a refund for the inconvenience.

Have been twice now with both times being relatively the same. Much the same experiences other low reviews have said. However I'd like to focus on the play equipment first. The area honestly feels like it could all do with a really good clean. 70% of the balls from the ball pits are broken or squished and with the money they are making I'm sure replacing some plastic balls every now and then shouldn't be a pricey expenditure surely. There was what was meant to be white netting up in the top of the play equipment but my partner said it was that filthy it was almost black instead and he didn't allow our daughter to go on it. The kids pillows were stained and smelly. A lot of the surfaces feel like they could do with a wipe/sanitize and clean down. As a suggestion maybe closing the play area once or twice each day to give it a "refresh" and tidy wouldn't go unappreciated.

Meals were priced at what I'd expect from a restaurant, however the quality was just not there. My partner and I had a few "nice" but cold chips, the rest were all what looked to be from the bottom of the bag/cooker, very small, scraggly and soaked in oil, chicken was dry and lacked flavour. Daughter's kids platter was similar and with the grapes and strawberries used for the skewers being very close to off I wouldn't be happy to serve them myself personally, grapes were browning and strawberries had dry spots starting on them. The 3 bits of brownie that came with the platter I didn't even offer my daughter, they were what looked to be side or end pieces and were rather hard.

Shame as it seemed the owners were more interested in making and giving nice food to their family, saw lovely waffles and wraps being made and brought over to the table.

Though however the drinks and sweet foods we ordered were nice.

All up it cost us close to $80 including submission for the play area and both my partner and I left disappointed. There was a party happening so perhaps that was the issue. It was very chaotic there, hence no chance to voice our disappointment in person. We might try again another time and see if 3rd times a charm.

What a confused business. It has potential to be so much better. Poor food and drink delivery (maybe understaffed). The place felt quite dirty and dysfunctional. Filthy windows and the one sanisiter unit was disgusting and non functional. Old equipment in the hallways. Piles of stock in boxes (maybe that was for the kids to climb on?) however saying that we found it great value. Spent a fun two hours there until it got extremely busy (school holidays) and I was worried about getting all of the diseases.

Got these meals to try for ease with a busy everyday life. It’s hard to find something balanced, healthy and delicious. This place does not disappoint! All the food tastes like good old home cooked meals that are flavoured and cooked to perfection! And all you need to do is chuck them in the microwave! Very impressed.

Always great, kids always love it! One criticism is that there are only 3 toilets and one of them has had a broken lock for months. They are aware of it as there is a sign on the door saying that it doesn't lock - probably time that got fixed!

If you have kids.this is the place to take them to burn off all their energy while you kick back with a coffee!

The meal machines packed meals are a life saver to busy working families. We know that regardless of time constraints once home at night with kids, we will be eating healthy delicious meals. Thanks team!

Great place for the kids they had a ball. I never knew this place even existed. If you want a 5 star all day breakfast or just a burger or some chips n nuggets this is the place to be

Great place for kids, but when it gets busy the food is very delayed in my experience. I ordered food and a drink then one hour later didn't get my order. Asking what's the delay the waitress didn't see me at the table so she took the order away, I was looking after a 4 year old. Other than that it's a good place.

I've been to Meal Machines several times. Its the perfect cafe if you have children with you.
There are so many activities for kids to keep them engaged for ages. While parents (or grandparents, etc) can enjoy a coffee or drink of your choice and sample the delicious food. And all the food is gluten free. But if you think GF means less taste, you will be pleasantly surprised. Try their cakes and cheesecakes. They are heavenly. As is all their food. I recommend the green smoothie.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great place. Indoor playground for the kids and good food, drinks and hospitality. Good to support this business.

100% gluten free and tastes amazing! I had a chicken and avocado focaccia toasted and it was delicious, can't wait to go back and try more from the menu. Staff were very lovely too!

Meal machines is not just a great cafe its also a play park for kids and a gym for adults.

I partially can vouch for their take home meals as someone with a busy schedule these often come in handy and taste like a healthy meal always fresh and delicious.

Tiny party room, over crowded, took over an hour just to get a coffee.
They were under staffed when I went and it was packed so I will update my review if I happen to go again.

I love bringing my 3 year old here for a treat and play. She loves it.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is delicious.

Our first visit with a grandchild and what an amazing experience it was. World class facility with a huge safe play area for children. Super clean and indoors. Comprehensive well priced menu. Better coffees would be difficult to find. Covid safe. Ideal for toddlers up to 6. Toilets clean and plenty to choose from. Wheelchair accessible. Plenty parking. Worthwhile a visit. All staff members extremely friendly and helpful!
