6Value for money, a lovely little cottage, bed comfortably, 3 day stay for 2, a change of towels for every day, handy to everything. Owner leaves you to yourselves but just a call away if you need anything.
This little cottage is absolutely beautiful Margaret the owner has gone to so much trouble to make her guests feel welcome and at home. It is so clean and has every amenity that is required for your stay. I just love it here wish I could stay longer, the next time I come I will book this place for sure as it is so homey and just the best. Cannot recommend McIntosh cottages highly enough. Thankyou Margaret for all your little extra touches so much appreciated. We just love it here. Will be passing on our recommendation to everyone we know who will be visiting Strahan in the future. We will be back as we want to do the train trip. Thankyou so much Margaret what a great find this little place is.
Clean, old cottage but with everything you need. New bathroom. The host is friendly and helpful.
Quaint cottage with everything you'll need including eggs, bread, milk and bathroom supplies and much more! Easy ride to town centre or drive to beach. Enjoyed the wood fire upon arriving on a cold windy day.
A lovely olden days style stay. Good beds, good quality furnitures, new bathroom. We also had a warm and very helpful welcome (with all we need to know about Strahan and what to see and do). The cottage has everything we need from kitchen utensils, washing machine to board games.
Nice little cottage in Strahan. Close to shops and main dining area. Eggs, fresh bread and condiments were provided for breakfast. Cottage was clean and well presented. It looked better inside than the online photos suggested. Decor is vintage / colonial. Bathroom was large and clean. DIY laundry might be handy if you are staying here an extended period of time. Off street parking was handy. Margaret was friendly and welcoming and provided a number of suggestions of activities to partake in during our stay at Strahan. We would stay here again and have no issues recommending this to others.
