McDonald's Sandy Bay reviews
55 Terribly slow service when it’s supposed to be “fast food”. Heaps of people waiting 15+ minutes for their order. Then order numbers more recent getting called out and served before those who have been waiting longer.
Then when you go to enquire why it’s taking so long you suddenly get instantly served your food… where was that 10 minutes ago?
I was a regular customer at this Macca's, being close proximity to work.
One time I had a latte made by one of their supervisors; after I left the restaurant I tasted it, it was extremely bitter. I opened the lid, there was no milk added and it wasn't full either. I don't see how they're in charge if they can't remember to add milk to a latte.
I ordered a grilled chicken deluxe meal recently. The burgers box ticket was correct and said it was grilled chicken, but the burger itself was a crispy one.
The supervisors at the time were too busy chatting to each other instead of double checking if meals were correct.
Most of the time they're chatting instead of teaching young staff members how to do orders correctly.
When I ordered my meal with a long black and the guy asked me what milk I want with it, I should have seen the signs. I got my coffee and they left me waiting for about 10 minutes without my food. Literally the worst Mc Donald’s drive through experience be ever had
Drive through for days with zero worries.
The in-store experience is different.
It was clean, quiet and quick.
This is not a place for good times. On a main road with a small Maccas playground, staying in side the car is a better option. Drive on down to any place nearby that has a view of the Derwent and green grass.
A bit small and crampy. Staff is decently quick. Meals were prepared per Macca's standard. Recommended.
I had ordered chicken burgers, I would say half of the burgers had either slightly overcooked meat or didn't have enough meat in the burger. Otherwise the other burgers were alright. The people in the restaurant were nice and got the job done. The atmosphere was sub par as there wasn't enough leg room when sitting and the toilets were gross.
I'm sorry to say that most McDonald's need to spend more time making sure you can sit down at a clean table. I enjoy there food that s why I gAve them 4 stars
Thw worst service. After waiting 20mins at the drive through service window we were told they were just about to start making our food. Said to the guy not to worry about our food to which he replied" have a good night " was not even going to give us a refund, we asked for a refund then and recieved it in a McDonald's paper bag what type of clowns work here.
Of all of the McDonald's in southern Tasmania this one takes the cake of being the worst.
Consistently slow. The drive thru is terrible (although it is cool watching the food slide down from the upper level). The staff here are decent. It's just the fact they can't keep up with demand or there aren't enough people rostered to keep up with it.
Burgers should be one chicken and one cheese, but they are two chicken! Sprite should be no ice, but it is full of ice! All of these are terrible! So bad!
Very slow in the drive thru, queued up for quite a while. Food was slow to arrive too, and when it did, it was missing some of the things we had asked for. Not that great overall.
They confuse orders all the time, instead of 2 burgers they put one, do not add additionally paid ingredients
Worst Macdonald I have ever been to; I experienced several times of terrible staff attitudes and food quality.
I am little bit worry about the sanition of the restaurant, I saw the staff prepared my Big Mac after blowing her nose, of course without washing hands. I have mixed feelings. Today is 6 Feb 2022,475 new cases in Tas.
We order one burger and one wrap and my wrap don't have much ingredients inside, so I'm shy to ask for have more inside.
The guys at the counter with the grey shirt is really nice and kind. He just accept my request and put more stuff inside and offer us for the disappointment some apple pie.
We don't expect this and it's really kind of him part
Clean Macca's with fast wifi.
Thank you
Always have issue with my order. Hair in burger, small amount chips in a large chip’s box, bad burger making, long waiting time, etc. I live in Sandy Bay, I hope the management and quality can be improve.
Customer Service was great and quick and nice temperature food also. Wait time was minimal which was awesome as I was on my lunch break
You must train your staffs first or wake them up before they put their uniform on and serve people, otherwise they just keep making silly mistakes like forgetting about my chips.
Place was clean. Staff seemed happy. Parking was a issue. Not sure about parking when it's busy. Had breakfast and lunch there with the kids. Burgers were good but I had massive slices of onion through mine. Overall good for a takeaway/quick stop.
Dirtiest maccas I've ever been too. The toilets where filthy and the dining room. Was full of dirty bags not in the bin and not one table was cleaned or wiped down the floors had spilt drink everywhere. They had plenty staff on but obviously management has either no clue or do.t care.
