Simply amazing bakery/cafe. Some incredible food offerings available here. All of the standard bakery fare is excellent but they also have a range of incredibly tasty treats for you!
Super friendly service and handy location right in town!

Walked in to this bakery in the middle of a warm day looking for a cold drink. Wasn't able to get one, as being diabetic, the only cold drink available that wasn't full of sugar was water. ALL 3 drink fridges were full of sugar laden drinks apart from one shelf of water. Many people these days suffer with diabetes and find it hard to find a sugar free fizzy drinks. Not good enough.

Turkey pita was stale with a slither of turkey & a half inch wide strip of cheese. The coffee Never again

Baristas are so slow here it’s ridiculous. They either take a hour to make your hot drink or they forget about it altogether completely. Not good enough

A better pie than the competition next door, a scallop pie better than Sheffield’s, and a big range of pies to choose from. The kangaroo mushroom pie could be improved with pepper and a richer gravy, but the lasagna pie taste like lasagna. Impressive. Great service.

Thank you to McCarthy's for a great coconut curry pie, If you are into light curry pies i do recommend this one!

Thank you for having gluten free pies! Not easy to find a bakery supporting gluten free options. I had the chicken and Brie, while the contents were yummy, it lacked the gravy. The short crust pastry also a little dry but still very tasty.
For dessert I had the apple and rhubarb and it tasted just like my late grandma’s apple cake, delicious!
My husband had the scallop mornay pie and was in seafood heaven.
In all a great experience.

They heat some mornay scallop pies for me and never bring them out. I go back in and she forgot about me and said we don’t have mornay scallop pies! Home of the famous award winning “we don’t have them anymore” Mornay scallop pie.

The service today was amazing and so was my milkshake but not so good on my recent visits as I was totally ignored

We called in this afternoon for a drink and slice, I had a latte and Jelly Slice my son had a hot chocolate and Jelly slice. We were extremely disappointed with our drinks and slices as the drinks had a dirty taste.
The Jelly slice was disappointing as the biscut base tasted cheap and disgusting.
We will not be returning
Both of us threw our drinks in the bin after about two sips

Have been in a number of times since McCarthy's took over & have found the food great - both variety & quality.
Coffee & service are now excellent after a few "teething problems" in the early days.
Well done to all at the establishment for turning it into a really great place to relax & enjoy a tasty break.

An absolute disaster.
Ordered hot chocolate, tasted like dirt, not joking. Mum had a coffee and said the same.

Service was dissapointing

I took two sips of my drink and threw it into the waste. I have never disliked a drink this much to waste it.

Had a jelly slice and while the jelly was okay, the biscuit base tasted extremely cheap and the slice was way too big, I felt bloated after eating one.

We will not be returning to this bakery

Previously quite liked this bakery, just found a long hair in both my roll and slice, very turned off, cost me $17 not real happy tbh

Nice Pies don't know how to make a good Coffee and having plastic cutlery in this day and age when most places are trying to get rid of plastic

Lovely coffee, tasty food and a warm spacious and inviting atmosphere. We sat on the generous leather lounges and just enjoyed ourselves.

There’s an outdoor seating area in a lovely well maintained amphitheater style spot.

Definitely recommend.

Excellent, fresh pre-made cakes for birthdays and celebrations. We'll-organised, neat, clean Bakery with plenty of seating inside and outside in sunny courtyard.

My favourite bakery in ulverstone out of the three, love the initiative of having donuts and pies of the week!

Upon entry we were not really greeted at counter but more grunted at.
Placed order. Paid for order and dine in we thought our food would be placed infront of us on a counter so we could take to a table.but they were left up the other end for us to fetch.putting us in a position of walking past others not able to safe distance
The pies ok.but overall the service which we got def took that positive away.

Awful customer service, food was sub par and coffee was watered down dirt.was better as banjos.will not return.
