Mayfield Estate reviews
21What a fabulous winery. We went to enjoy on a rainy day and the view was still beautiful, the place was so gorgeous and well presented, but also felt nice and cosy, and the team are super friendly and welcoming. My husband and I absolutely loved their selection at this cellar door with the inclusions of beers, signature gins and mixed drinks. All were delicious as was the wood fired pizza, it was perfect for lunch. The family and team who run this place clearly put a lot of love and effort into their winery and their customer service. Highly recommend stopping here on the east coast drive. Thank you guys for making our rainy day so enjoyable!
Jo and Bruce are amazing, very accommodating, awesome service, pizzas are lovely and a choice of beverages for everyone. Sophia’s Gin and the history behind it is very interesting. Thank you for your hospitality. Highly recommend.
Beautiful winery and amazing staff! Perfect venue for my birthday celebrations, I could not have asked for a better day! Thank you for having us.
This place is simply amazing! Wonderful food, wine is sensational and the views are just stunning. The staff were exceptional and made our visit one to never forget! Thank you for making our day!
Visited as a solo traveler on a long weekend traveler after rain cancelled my natl park plans. Incredible hospitality and environment. Enjoyed a lovely wine tasting and cheese board while reading in a cozy corner. Was served as I finished each tasting. Surprisingly enjoyed the Chardonnay even though I usually don't particularly prefer these wines.
Location, location! Spectacular views, great wine and gin with excellent friendly service. Don’t drive past this great winery
Wonderful hospitality. We had some tasty wood fired pizza and a lovely tasting experience. 100% recommend Sophia’s gin (with an interesting back story). A great range of drinks if you aren’t into the wine tasting. Bruce and Jo are gorgeous hosts and we will definitely be back (and I didn’t even mention the beautiful view). 100% recommend ️
Wow. The views here are breathtaking. We walked in for a wine tasting. The standout is the pinot noir here. Jo is the perfect example of hospitality and just genuinely a good person. She explained to us how the wines are made and also about the property itself. Can't wait to come back.
I still can't get over the view of the bay, wow. And the Pinot, cheese platter and service was top notch, one of the highlights of our Tassie trip.
Stunning location and views! Service is second to none (aka first) and the wine was absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend!
I highly recommend a tasting followed by a pizza and a cheese board and just soak up the view.
Another jewel in the east coast crown. Jo and Bruce have ecked out a tremendous spot with killer views, Pinot noir to match and a chef who makes the most amazing tasting plate! Our go to local spot from now on. Congrats to the team for giving it a crack, you guys are on to something
Beautiful spot to stop, relax, graze and gaze for awhile. Lots to look at with the architect, fittings and finish in the building.
A must visit if going past the views are awesome and don't forget their lovely wine is worth a sample
Awesome little place thats unfortunately easy to miss if heading towards Swansea.
Wines are easy to drink. The owners have a pleasant manner and the place is small but new.
Sitting outside soaking up the sunshine whilst enjoying their wine and watching the bay and occasionally seeing a wave break in the distance is a good way to relax late arvo.
Beautiful spot and amazing views. The owners have done a wonderful job designing this property. Very friendly and felt like we were extended family. Wines are lovely and fresh. Sophia's gin was a delicious dry London gin and has an amazing story behind it. Will definitely being visiting again.
Stumbled across this little gem, the spectacular view and building drew us in. Wine was delicious and service was outstanding, highly recommended!
Top notch wine in a top notch setting. Bruce and Jo were extremely warm and hospitable. We had a lovely time, you must try the Pinot Noir!
This is a perfect place to stop by along eastern coast for some relax and wine tasting. The cheese board is the best we have ever had. All cheesies are local Tasman made and so yummy. The Chardonnay and Sparkling are the best.
The most beautiful winery along the East Coast. Beautiful service, spectacular views and divine wines. Thank you
