Manky Sally's reviews
12The most interesting bar in Salamanca. Run by Mona’s own Moo Brew. The beers are elite–an interesting range–without being too out there. The space itself is understated on the outside but very cool fit-out on the inside, nothing else like it in Hobart. Food was great, good mix of snacks and more substantial eats.
What a VIBE! We loved Manky's. Moo-Brew on tap and the onion rings changed my life. The staff were super lovely and the vibe is really cool for right in the heart of Battery Point!
Had a few drinks at this great bar. The staff are phenomenal and the drinks are impressive! The Belgian Pale Ale was my fave! Thanks to Sam in the kitchen for making our time extra special! Will be back!
The beers was genuinely delicious and the food was spectacular. Whilst the menu steers away from traditional brewery feeds, it rivaled some of the best modern Asian cuisine that I've tasted and perfectly complimented an ice cold brew. Would strongly recommend even to those non beer lovers. (Chips were a 10/10, please send me the recipe)
If you love great beer and food.that's a yeah from all really.
Manky Sally's has it cooked and Amber. Pour z Beers for walshy also bubbles and wine from this Salamanca slot.
Fast becoming the go to for professionals and lovers of class.
Brilliant lunch spot or dinner destination. Selection of unique nano brew beers, perfectly paired salty/spicy food and inviting interior where you can settle in. The bottle wall is a must see.
The best luxury dive bar in Hobart. Also the only luxury dive bar in Hobart. Prepare for spicy food, cold beer, and a taxidermied squirrel. There's an experimental brewery down a tunnel next to the VIP lounge, so make time to drink all the weird beers. Be rude not to. Don't get kicked out for playing with the squirrel.
Newly opened Manky Sally’s is a must visit.
Great location with a generous selection of Moo brew beers on tap also with seasonal beers. We also tried the food here and wow it did not disappoint. Truffle honey king prawns were so fresh and are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Please keep them on the menu. Good luck and see you when we are down there again. 10/10
Great little place, good music, good service, and the food was amazing!
Loved the chilli burrata, and the wallaby skewers were amazing, tender, tasty, and a bit different. I would buy the chunky crunchy chilli oil by the galen if it was available.
Unashamedly a little quirky!
A great bar, nice atmosphere, staff with personality and great bar food!
Definitely worth a look.
Great venue in Salamanca, part of the Mona family with excellent beer prices ($10 for a pint of Tas Lager) - great 70s decor, a great place to hang out with friends
Tour was fantastic and so were the bar staff, highly recommended for anyone, especially any craft beer fan!
