LUNA CHAN reviews
22Totally random find for us and LUNA CHAN did not disappoint! We ordered wings, bao buns and skewers and all were so delicious. We will definitely be back for more. The menu is huge and we are excited for more feasting.
I just had their Honey Garlic chicken wings, which smelled so fresh and tasty. Recommended
It’s my ‘go to’ in Moonah: funky, friendly, great service & food. Last time we had fried chicken skins, egg plant chips, fried chicken, pork bowl. Delicious! The oyster specials are fab…. It’s all fab!
Got stuck in traffic, so decided to stop for a drink.
Curly Chips 10/10 Good Chips! I Love it! Kept the kids happy
$5 pint of Sapporo between 4-6pm, can’t go wrong. Small tapas but were big serves. Delish. Crispy prawn was lovely with fresh pineapple and cucumber salad. Try something different. But is so Good!
Nice food but overpriced and minuscule portions.and usually when I go for a pizza I'm never able to eat a full one. I left the restaurant still hungry and went to another restaurant just few metres away, and ate lots of food for $37 (in two! 18.5$ each!)
$5 dollar pints! Holy moly what a deal! Great food as well. Loving the modern Asian fusion and you can’t beat $2 oysters
It is not authentic Taiwanese food, though it is written Taiwanese on the menu. And the taste is very so so. If you want small quick snacks, they are just acceptable.
Great little place with delicious food and friendly staff. The portions aren't huge which means you can grab a few items from all the tasty things on offer without the risk of stuffing yourself and living in a world of regret
We went to dinner recently and ordered the soft shell crab salad and bao bun.there was a lot of meat in the crab which was good but the batter which it was coated in made me feel sick to the stomach.apart from all that the service is 10/10.
Went to the restaurant while on holiday. Alittle drive from the CBD but worth the trip. Great variety, only suggestion would be more noodles in the crab noodle salad
Beautiful food, friendly staff, clean surrounds. We are regulars and have never been disappointed in any of our meals - cannot recommend highly enough.
Customer service was amazing. Staff that served us was very polite and welcoming which we appreciated! I had the crispy chicken bao buns and the chef special's soft shell crab bao buns. In my opinion, I felt like the peanut sauce on the chicken buns is too thick and heavy - wasn't able to finish it. The same with the soft shell crab buns, the salted egg sauce was too much and therefore ended up being very very salty and overpowered the taste of the soft shell crab. Both dishes were very heavy and it was hard to finish. Other than that, the other foods were good.
Highly recommended, it was awesome. The fried chicken with miso mayo and housemade lychee soda with passionfruit pearls were my favourite.
What an amazing place! Friendly staff, great food, amazing decor. I absolutely love their desserts.
We went to check it out with a gift voucher for my birthday, we ordered the soft shell crab and the octopus, to be honest there was little to no soft shell crab in the batter and the octopus had the texture of a gumboot,
The price is definitely over priced compared to quality.
The quality will definitely have to improve before we go back to try it again!
Good luck
We’ve eaten here a couple of times for lunch and dinner.
Great Asian fusion food. Pleased with the selection. Comes out quick and very tasty.
Cool vibe inside
Great service! Tried all the oyster dishes during the Friday oyster happy hour (5 to 6pm) Delicious!
Food was amazing, mod Aussie/Chinese. Was great for sharing. Small but good wine selection. Friendly staff, cool decore.
I liked the location too. We were seated in at the window looking out at the street scape of Main road Moons going by: some office workers playing table tennis, a busy network of uber drivers shuttling food and 3 teenagers with a giant fake ficus.
Main Rd Moonah is the new NoHo
Will be back
I just got back from lunch with my nan and pop.
I have to say, that was the best food I have had in a long time, the Boa burgers were light and fluffy and the chicken and pork melted in your mouth, the crispy chicken rice bowl was to die for, absolutely amazing 10/10 would recommend
