Lucas Hotel

We had a fantastic lunch at this pub. Hubby had a steak sandwich and I had the Mediterranean Parmi. Both were excellent. We will be back! Well done Lucas Hotel

Dropped in on the off chance for lunch and received a friendly welcome.
Lunch was very good and particularly impressed with the vegetables that were served nice and hot which at times in some outlets can be just warm. Very good all round.

Really good pub meal, we had chicken schnitzel and deluxe cheeseburger. The dining room is very historic looking and interesting. Staff were really friendly & great service.

My Cousin always stays at the Lucas every time she comes to visit. She stayed 3 nights this trip ate there with us and and she will stay there next trip over. She travels the world but the nicest room per dollar value this is the best

Went there for Valentine's Day lunch, gorgeous olde worlde decor (my preferred style as I loathe the coldness of modernity!) Food was delicious, service attentive and friendly. We missed out a few months prior because they were booked out, I can see why. Highly recommended.

A frequent stop when I visit family in the Northwest of Tasmania. The venue is simple and old-timey, however the food here is excellent. You always get a good feed for the price. Would recommend as the go-to place to eat in Latrobe.

So so so yummiest lunch we just had from Luca's hotel. Hats off to the cheff for the moth watering lunch especially the duck roast. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and quick service. Thanks guys.

Recently enjoyed oyster kilpatrick and Tbone, delicious and well cooked. The ambience of this venue is calm and unhurried, definitely return again.

Good decor, gentle piped music. Always nice to be able to hear a conversation. Always good food with plenty of choice, also half serves for guests that can't eat a large meal. The service was excellent and speedy. We had lunch for 8 and all the meals came at virtually the same time.

The food is absolutely delicious and the variety of food on the menu is excellent. My bbq pork sirloin was cooked to perfection and the salad accompanying it was great, with a lovely dressing.

Hotel has history and atmosphere. Tidy, clean and awesomely comfortable bed in my room. Though I found the publican and other staff member there cold and unfriendly which dampened my time there.

Friendly staff and we felt safe in respects to COVID19 restrictions. And the food was delicious!

Opened the door and met a bad attitude behind the bar. So rude it was obvious he did not like the customers that had booked online.refused to believe that I had not cancelled the booking, when it was prepaid and confirmed. I cant express how horrible the situation was!

Great food always, you can really count on this lovely hotel to deliver good food. The staff are always very friendly and smiling. Never had a bad meal yet and they have a great coffee shop in the rear that serves great quiche.

Took a workmate and his wife for a meal on world of mouth. Not disappointed at all. Shared two entrees. Garlic pizza and danper. Both alright, nice crusty bread and well topped pizza. For main I had crumbed scallops, very nice smaller meal and chips were fantastic. He had steak and onion rings she had steak with prawns. Both were very happy with their meal. He had sticky date pudding for dessert and I had self saucing chocolate pudding. Both were very good but size wise the sticky date was better value. Will be back.

Absolutely primo food served in bistro. We had; roast pork and veges, rissoles and mash and Guiness beef pie salad and chips. All fantastic in taste and presentation. Bistro elegantly furnished with very clean amenities. Super value for money.

Lovely local Hotel, great food, excellent service lunch menu is tasty, large serve and very affordable.
