Love Lucy Boots - Wine Room and Takeaway Espresso Bar reviews
15Trust me it’s a must go, if you want great coffee or a snack to go! Service is soooo friendly!
Love this place, we visit on our way from Launceston to Cradle Mountain, was curious what s the hype with this place. Lucy s very passionate with her coffee, learned that she used to have coffee shop in NSW. Nice, clean friendly atmosphere. Top quality coffee. Definitely will come back when we visit Tasmania again for her wine bar.
Had a delicious coffee & freshly baked croissant here this morning.yum.
Great atmosphere chatting to locals
Be sure to call in either for coffee +/- pastry or for a glass of wine.
Without doubt, my favourite cafe experience! From excellent fresh coffee, to the butteriest morning buns and croissants, to the strategically positioned grumpy old men out the front eager to pass on their wisdom, to the owner herself who is part mum / part comedian / part conductor, this place had it all! Without doubt must be part of your itinerary if going from Launceston to Craddle Mountain or if you are truely in the know, your destination in its own right. Thanks Lucy!
Love Lucy Boots was recommend to us by locals and we really liked the sound of the wine bar. We stopped in just after 4pm for a sneaky drink and were warmly welcomed by Lucy, her dad and her visiting niece. We had a lovely chat to all, grabbed a toasty and found the selection of wines excellent with good recommendation. We'll certainly be back next time we are in Tassie.
Great little spot with incredible service and a wonderful selection of wines, definitely a highlight on our trip
A true gem, enhanced by great conversations, a community-building philosophy and exquisite attention to detail. Coffee in the morning, wine bar by evening, the decor and setup are funky, fresh and warm without a whiff of twee.
A personal favourite.
Lucy loves what she does and freely shares her local knowledge. So glad we stopped in Westbury today on our way to cradle mountain. Great coffee and great melting moments, we followed her instructions to wear a coat and keep warm. From the Queenslanders!
We stopped by Westbury in search of a loo whilst on our Tasmanian roast trip. And decided to grab a coffee while in town. We found a sweet little town & a group of friendly locals at Lucy’s store.
We have had our fair share of pastries in our life but the ‘morning bun’ was probably one of the best ever. Great coffee and friendly service.
Lucy loves boots is a warm and friendly wine, food and beverages bar with a lovely, comfortable decor and an exceptional host. Lucy treats her guests with wonderful service and we enjoyed a local rose and a cheese platter there today. Thanks Lucy, we'll be back!
Thanks Lucy, we will be back!
Amazing wine selection. Romantic and elegant interior decor. A must visit if you pass Westbury.
Well! This wine bar/cafe is the sort of place that quickly becomes the highlight of your holiday. Lucy is the most socially adept, highly competent barista who has seemingly effortlessly created a hub for her town where people gather to enjoy humanity. She’s def got the smarts and is efficient and friendly. She has the gift of bringing people together with her collection of comfortable milk crates so that people can partake. She even directs people to groups so they can join in. I spent 2 minutes inside with Lucy and I love her already! A gorgeous selection of baked goods- all displayed in the window. We are now planning how to come back for the afternoon/evening wine and cheese sittings!
Beautiful coffees and pastries for breakfast and Lucy gave us some wonderful tips for places to visit nearby. What a treasure!
A sensational place for an early morning coffee and croissant with the divine Lucy providing a wonderful experience. Thank you
