Longley Hotel reviews
46Wonderful service, absolutely delicious food. Music was superb. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great afternoon.
Apparently this is where Rosehaven is filmed and you can see why. This place is the birthplace of the Wolfe Bros band and there is live music Fridays / Sundays. Can't wait to visit and camp across the road for some frothies and tunes.
Despite having lived in Hobart for that 10 years this was our first visit to the Longley International Hotel. It was lovely day out. Great food, good value and fantastic service. The drive to and from Longley was great. We will include the Longley Hotel as one of the places to take interstate visitors.
Nice beer good food. Manager and staff need to learn what the word international means by maybe visiting some international type hotels
Beautiful pub to enjoy a generous and delicious meal! Had to visit thanks to Rosehaven Steaks were cooked to perfection and well worth visiting. Book ahead for weekend dinners it gets busy!
Lively, outdoor eating experience, we enjoyed huge beef burgers with loads of trimmings and chips. Perfect for families.
Had heard some good things about the Hotel and thought we would give it a go. It was a cozy venue with straightforward food that was prepared well and was generously portioned, I had a steak that was honestly one of the best I have had in a decade or more.
It's not pretentious, or putting on airs, not claiming to be anything but what it is; a simple country pub that does good food, has a warm friendly atmosphere and has staff that are local.
Will be back for sure.
Great place to stop for very good food and friendly staff can't wait to stop in the next time iam in Tasmania
Friendly staff, really good food and great portions even for lunch service, a bit on the higher end for price but worth it.
Love this epic pub. Great Aussie atmosphere, friendly staff, fires everywhere and really good food.
Excellent venue for live music. Thanks to Full Tilt Boogie, for their great music today. Food was excellent as always, highly recommend the garlic bread. Great afternoon spent with our local family.
Fantastic place. Live bands in outdoor entertaining area. A great country pub since 1861. Final stage of targa Tasmania. Camping across the road
Great pub! Food amazing & the atmosphere is brilliant.
The live gigs are an added bonus really well run.
Probably the best beer garden in Australia. Great local vibe - if you want a beer and a counter meal + live music this is the authentic tassie pub that everyone knows about.
Always good atmosphere and value for money, but just had the beef pie, no meat just potatoes and carrots, would avoid it if I was you.
The meals are huge, I had a chicken Spitz, I think mine was was a whole chook! The Parmi was huge! The steak was great/tender and the kids meal was awesome in, not to mention the atmosphere was fantastic.
Camped across the road from Hotel for 2 nights. Had drinks both nights and the best parmigiana I have had.
Staff were very friendly with a special thank you to Melissa who gave us great info on future camping spots. Loved that she remembered us from the night before and that she asked about our travels to Bruny Island that day.
Highly recommend a stopover here.
Just worked the Russell Morris tour started in Burnie and ended at the longly hotel what a venue to finish at
What a place. Free camping (vans and tents). Need to be self reliant, toilets at the pub, fantastic atmosphere, great gigs (Black Sorrows last week), great food, great beer. It a good fit.
