Longford Riverside Caravan Park reviews
37"I really liked staying at Longford Riverside Caravan Park. The caravan site was clean and comfy. My wife loved the quiet and pretty surroundings. They take good care of their garden, and being by the river was awesome. We would've stayed longer if we could. Thanks for a nice experience! "
Great caravan park located on the banks of a small stream, central to all the town's facilities
A postcard perfect camp.
Camped for the night in our van, unpowered site, river view, close to the amenities and kitchen, hot shower was amazing with 20 cents for 3 minutes cheap as, very clean and peaceful will definitely be staying again very soon we are going to check out woolmers estate etc lovely historic town
Excellent camping park on lawned area on the bank of the Macquarie River.
Thoroughly enjoyable.
Close to river.walking distance to Cafe. Bakery and Supermarket. Park is clean and tidy.friendly atmosphere.
Overpriced. For $ 48 you could expect WiFi and a decent kitchen as it is common in other parks of that category. Not even the warm shower is included though 20 c are a rather symbolic price. Sites are ok but nothing special. The river is the best though there's foam floating on it probably from pollution.
Excellent position, nice staff, clean amenities. Been there before and I will return, I hope.
Stayed two nights in a premium on-site caravan with a built-in deck for enjoying the views of the river. Great accommodation for a bloody good price.
Beautiful park but the staff were no help at all and the rudest people I have come across having stayed in many parks across aus
Great caravan park. Amenities very clean. Great big spaces to put caravan in. Flat easy to use.
The Power pack on caravan Roma went flat when we was only using heat pump and TV!
woke up freezing and had to use our mobile phone lights to get dressed for work it was not pleasant!
. Other than that it was a great stay in a great location
The site is clean and location is nice and the receptionist was helpful with organising an after hours check in with my wife.
As we were leaving the park this morning we were flagged down by the high and mighty maintenance man who was more interested in berating us for not driving the 5km speed limit the previous night, rather than us trying to tell him about smoke coming from one of the bins.
We apologised but he kept on with his lecture, and was kind enough to give our other group members the same lecture.
We were not speeding by any stretch of the imagination, we simply missed the speed sign in the dark while trying to locate the designated area for us on the map.
One of the nicest caravan park that we have stayed at! One night at the powered site.
Site comes with concrete for you to parked at which is nice because no muddy shoes!
Toilet is very clean and awesome! Right where we are parked at, you get to see nice river with ducks! At night we even heard Tasmanian devils in the forest across the river!
Longford Riverside Caravan park, is by far my favourite park, out of hundred of van parks or campgrounds ive stayed at, this is far better than any other park ive been to.
Epic campsites within meters of the Macquarie River (4m minimum distance from tent to waters edge)
Clean and well appointed camp kitchen
Clean bathrooms, with showers that are too big to be called stalls, these are shower rooms, with a good size bench behind the shower wall, so your clothes etc stay dry.
Great, helpfull owners/management and staff.
I will be back
Great park and staff, they squeezed me in half an hour before closing on one of their busiest days.
Nice ground right by the river but very windy the two days were here, otherwise would have liked to enjoy more time outside our Campervan.
Having been in many campgrounds around WA this is the first time we had to pay for showers, but only 20c for 3 mins, so all good. The bathroom and showers facilities were clean and well maintained, however kitchen has barely anything. An electric stove and a sink, that’s all, not even any dishwashing liquid. The BBQs are slow to heat up. Laundry and (45 mins cycle) dryer was $4 per load. Otherwise overall a pretty good campground.
Beautiful caravan park, safe and extremely clean. Loved all the old trees and ground's.amenities very clean
Lovely peaceful location by river. Great for dogs. Helpful owners, well maintained and priced right.
Extremely rude man, wouldn’t let visitors enter, I was told in no uncertain terms, “your visitors just can’t come & go”, interesting both sets of visitors are disabled, one has Cystic Fibrosis & my 2yo Granddaughter is blind, I have spinal injuries.
Maybe disability is an issue for him!
I did at least 1 thing wrong everyday! 3 days ️ I’m an older/wiser woman. In bed 9.30 each eve & didn’t go out till 9am each day. Other campers were surprised to see I had a small dog as he never barked.
We went here over a couple months ago and our tent trailer was an eye saw according to them so we upgraded to something more enclosed. Wishing that there was more assistance in helping people who are struggling like myself and my dad who barley had anything, amenities weren't cleaned the best and I was scared of going for a shower let alone use the tolite. So sad to leave the place but it was for the best of our health and wellbeing
