Loira Vines reviews
32The most delicious tasting plates for lunch paired with wines you could hope for. Really great day out touring vineyards and stopping for lunch here. Highly recommend. I bought some Rocky Gardens Relish as I was leaving because it blew me away and now I’m looking to buy more online, it’s so good.
We found the experience at Loira to be so enjoyable that we visited twice during our two week holiday! Such a lovely family behind Loira Vines, a beautiful property, welcoming of our dog, incredible platters, wine, cider and beer. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit Tasmania!
Wonderful small winery with a great view of the wineries on the hills. Really good service from the husband and wife team who provided our wine tasting and vegetarian cheese board. Wine, beer and ciders were really enjoyable and not to pricey. Cheese board was sourced from local producers which was very yummy. Don’t skip on this place.
AMAZING! The BEST platter we’ve EVER had! All local products, great location, winery, & staff! Super friendly & accomodating. The wine, ciders & beers also excellent! Such great value. We recommend to all our family & friends if they were to visit the area.
5 stars!
Enjoyed a wonderful platter and equally wonderful wines. Great service, food and wines. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
A beautiful garden setting in which to enjoy a delicious platter of Tasmanian produce and sample the beer wine and cider.
Have to agree with other reviewers. Top little spot with great presentation of local produce via the $35pp share platter. Combined with the $10 full tasting of all ciders/wines and beer this made for an excellent lunch served by happy efficient staff in a relaxed location. Popular so I’d book ahead.
The best vegetarian platter I have EVER had (the whole party, including the meat eater thought so too)
My tasting platter was amazing as was my girlfriends vegan tasting platter. On top of great surrounds and extremely friendly staff.
Do yourself a favour and get yourself and other half here. Wine, cider and beer.awesome. Add to this the consummate entertainer and you have the perfect day.
Absolutely great vibe. Open Friday to Sunday. The greatest platters with food from North/West Tasmania mainly Launceston. Wines, ciders and beers all taste great. Yes all three available! Owners and Pip are lovely. Reasonably priced bottles of wine, cider and beer too
Great cellar door, incredible food and hospitality. Perfect lunch spot for a day at Tamar. Hosts are good fun and share platter is filled with great local produce.
The share platter is amazing display of local products. Hosts were delightful and the tasting of all the wines cider and beer a bonus excellent value, red delicious cider a winner
Amazing platters the best food in the tamar! Service is excellent and wine is very good! A great little boutique vineyard. A must if you are visiting the tamar region!
Amazing wine, cider, beer and food. Highly recommend as a lunch spot for Tamar valley winery hopping but recommend booking a table ahead of time.
One of my favourite places to visit, most amazing platters, excellent wines and such friendly hosts
So amazing! Miraby and Adrian are so great.
Food and drinks amazing. Atmosphere amazing. Also really good at topping up biscuits and bread! You will never end up with left over food and no crackers!
Such a great place, wholsome and down to earth.
Really great for dietary requirements and stress free!
I will be back
What a great find, so unassuming. Fantastic hosts, great food and loved their Abstract wines, lable and content. It was a bad weather day made better for our short trip down the Tamar Valley. Loved how our food came from the valley and that our hosts printed a list so we could see our food miles were low. Will definitely visit again.
Beautiful vineyard. Absolutely fantastic service and amazing food. Excellently priced and lovely atmosphere
This was my favourite winery in the tamar region, with a lovely array of cool climate wines. The grounds are beautiful, with the pond being home to a platypus. The owners were absoultely wonderful, friendly and welcoming with great conversation, description of everything and unlike most wineries, no pressure to buy anything, however its so fabulous that you can't avoid it! The platter was by far the best I've ever had and paired beautifully with everything we tasted. Cannot recommend more highly, particularly of the owners and platters
