Little Sunnyside Accommodation

A quiet little gem in Tasmania's countryside. This beautiful accommodation is owned by a lovely couple who own the surrounding farmland. The house is spacious and well renovated, with modern appliances and aesthetic furnishings to make it a real home away from home. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and is very quiet. I can't say enough good things about the hospitality, and Philip and Francisca were kind enough to show me around their beautiful farm. Loved having sheep for neighbors, the wood fireplace, and being able to see the Milky Way in the clear night sky. 20 minutes drive from Launceston, and things like supermarkets and restaurants are a drive away. A real gem, a great place to stay while exploring Tasmania.

The 1 bedroom cottage provides all the essentials for a short stay.

In order to make it a five star, the owners could consider:

1.a softer mattress to cater for a variety of tastes. Not everyone prefers a firm/ hard mattress

2. A solar powered light next to the sign at the gates. This would assist people unfamiliar with the area who are looking for the property after dusk

3. Instructions for using the washing machine.

4. Sufficient supply of pellets for the heater, especially on cold nights.

Eat out options are very limited in the area.

A great value! Large clean and well equipped. Very peaceful surroundings. Good kitchen, dining room, dining counter, sitting room, and living room. Has a washer and drier and a screened patio with a nice view.

We had a wonderful warm welcome from Francisca. Lovely homemaked bread and muffins. Cottage was very clean and well looked after. Location is set in beautiful quite country surrounding. Will definitely stay here again.

Quiet, beautifully renovated country farm house with every consideration given to guest's comfort. Set among paddocks full of grazing cattle and sheep. This is one of those little gems you rarely find when looking for accommodation.
