Little Norfolk Bay Events and Chalets reviews
18 Quick and easy to book and the hosts were very accommodating. Chalet was gorgeous inside and very well equipped. Suits a couple really well. Lovely complimentary wine and main dinner (fish pie).
Well placed to explore the Tasman Peninsula. Looking forward to staying again in the future.
The internet connection is very poor, and so is the attitude of the landlord. The room is very clean and large, and the view is beautiful. The shower gel and shampoo provided are in half-used large packages.
Great place to stay for couples. Nicely equipped for 1 night or a few. A good halfway point for exploring the Peninsula.
The villa was spacious. The fridge door doesn't close properly, so it's wet inside. The knobs for the oven no longer have any markings, you just try how hot the temperature is. We had booked a special offer. 2 nights with dinner and breakfast. It was only for the 1st night the pie and the continental breakfast in the fridge for a day. WiFi was limited, on the veranda of the main house and outside the villa on the balcony.
Chalet was lovely, surrounds were nice, only fault was in this day and age you need reliable phone and internet, both for any emergency and to be able to check out the area on the web as well as to make bookings for attractions, and there was no wifi available and phone coverage was spotty at best.
A really special spot. The room offered lush views of the surrounding bush and at night the pademelons were grazing outside our room. Plenty of bench space and kitchen utensils if you want to cook.
Greta little set up here! Close to port Arthur historical sites. Rooms are very nice and the spa is a perfect touch!
Very nice place. Great for romantic weekend. Amenities were very good. Birds and traffic were loud in the morning, but nothing owner can do about that!
Staff was friendly even afterhours. Make arrival pleasant at pitch dark. Amazing chalet with spa right beside the king bed!
My boyfriend and I travelled Tasmania for a week and this was our favourite accommodation. The room is immaculate and features a full kitchen, bathroom, lounge room and balcony. The view is absolutely stunning and the owners made us feel right at home. The location of the chalet is perfect in relation to food and Port Arthur historic site. Thank you again for our wonderful stay!
We were not sure bedsheets had been changed when we arrived and some surfaces were a bit sticky.
Not a good feeling when you arrive at a place.
Excellent maintenance, extremely clean and freshly renovated accommodation. In-room spa overlooks the bay. Beautiful views from the bed. Complete with the little luxuries of dishwasher, washer-dryer. Our favourite stay in Tasmania. Definitely recommended to everybody. Eloise & team, u r doing a great job, keep up the good work!
Stayed June 2019
This has got to be the best value going! We bought an indulgence package that blew us away. Beautiful little chalet with big comfy bed, a spa bath, nibbles and bubbles on the first night. The second night we were treated to a seven course menu with matching wines. All Tasmanian produce and outstanding! Then we rolled in on the Sunday morning to enjoy a lazy home made breakfast! The highlights for us where definitely the dinner and paired wines, and all the personal touches, like home made james and relishes and a copy of Eloise’s cook book! We will be back!
We had a wonderful stay for the Indulgence weekend and the food was delicious. The accommodation is really nice too. I would definitely recommend it.
We loved it a beautiful timber chalet in lovely surroundings with a nice view and all mod cons and it’s perfect for Port Arthur, we even had wallaby’s visiting us just outside our patio door. Highly recommended.
Discovered the Mussel Boys wood fired pizzas last night. With the fire going and a glass of good wine and delicious hot chocolate, what a joy! The staff and service was just right too; friendly, respectful and attentive. We were delighted. We'll be back. What a find!
I would highly recommend Mussel boys accommodation (B&B) to anyone looking for a very beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.
Be sure to try their wood oven pizzas.
I only wish we had more time to stay at Mussel boys.
