The most amazing working hostel. Like a family there could not recommend enough. The owner David makes you feel like family and takes care of you. You can sleep in your tent or in a room, clean facilities and most comfiest sofas. Most amazing vibe ever with easy access to Hobart and the apple, blueberry and cherry orchards.

There is plenty of space for tents and vans and cheap as-well. Kitchen is huge with a tv, comfy sofas, utensils. Hot showers included in the price. Everything you need and doesn’t feel like you are camping.

Perfect location near Woolies, lovely bakery’s, and plenty of op shops. David has good relationships with the neighbouring orchards and will be able to point you in the right direction to get a job in the orchards.

This hostel provides such a nice community feel here and would love to go back. This places has a special place in my heart ️

No words can really explain how magic this place is.
I've been in Little Devil 3 years ago and came back this year with no regrets. David, the owner, is genuinely the best person ever. He cares about each person in the hostel and make sure everyone feels safe and happy, also helping a lot finding a job.
The kitchen area is huge, and a lot of covered outdoor space with couches and tables.
It's just the perfect place to spend a true backpacking experience, or simply where to spend a few months of your life while working in the Huon Valley and having great time with amazing people.

I had only planned to stay for a few days to visit a few friends but I got sucked into the best vibes with the best people and the best owner so of course i extended my time by weeks. Big family vibes! The most welcoming owner David and the vibe was perfect. Felt at home straight away here. I 100% recommend this hostel to everyone. Was so sad to leave.

Experience in little devil was my life turning point. I am so greatful that I can stay in little devil. Kitchen is very wide, camping spot is also really great. Shower room is also very convenient and big. Laundry and dryer price is reasonable and good deal.
I was bit afraid of living in the tent at first, but It was amazing experience!

This backpackers should be under investigation for a number of reasons by the council. Not only is it disgusting living conditions. Secondly the amount of backpackers they have living tent to tent in the scorching sun is far over the capacity in which they should be operating. Thirdly the price for just a tent is 110 dollars ontop of having to pay for transportation to work and back as well as the use of hot showers that should be included in rent is appauling. Furthermore they have now complained because it is low season about campers utilizing the council run cheap campgrounds to try to monopolize the entire enterprise. It is disgusting. Private entities should not have the power over council to change or intimidate agreements set out previous.

I loved my stay in this very welcoming place, the managers are very nice and were able to find me a job almost straight away, the people are amazing.so many cultures and countries mixed together in just one place! This was a great experience that changed my life, thank you for everything!:)

Great Hostel, met really good people.

David, Val and Andy are really nice and really helped you to find a job quickly. The beds are comfy and you are not far away from the town. So it's perfect if you don't have a car.

Also they can provide you car if you need to go to the farm.
