Great low cost campsite! No specific sites and can’t pre book.
Great location close to the Convict Coal Mine site.
Good phone reception with Telstra.
Toilet block really modern. Some great walks from the camping area.

Great spots by the water, good swimming, possums are a pest if you’re still cooking at night, a baby one ran up my leg, hand water pump at toilets is broken so can’t top up water here.

Great spot with plenty of areas to camp. Has 4 really good and cleans toilets. Area needs a bit of maintenance as some of the driveways in and out of the spots are bit bumpy and not that great for sedans, especially if it’s wet weather. The path to the long beach is overgrown and not clearly marked, worth the trek just keep an eye out for snakes! $13 for a couple overnight is quite good value.

Great camping spot with a beautiful view onto the ocean. Not crowded despite being there during summer. After dawn, many animals run around on the camping sight, sometimes even under the vans. We saw wombats, brush tail possums, and wallabies, as well as many birds. The toilets are well serviced an very clean. Be aware that the last 20min are on a gravel road.

$13 a night for 2 people
Drop toilets with water and toilet paper
7 min drive on a dirt road, some pot holes and can be a tight squeeze with on coming traffic but definitely accessible.
Camping Ground was a mix of grass patches and dirt, lots of old camp fires. Ground is relatively flat whilst still feeling like you are in wilderness.
Good phone reception
There looks to be a few nice walks around the site but we didn't go on any. Lovely view from the camp ground to the water

120 km from Hobart, Lime Bay campground is very quite and nature. Starting from Coal Mine historic, road to campground is gravel so it took longer time to drive. There are also several walking tracks that you can enjoy whole day. This is campground with fee and no dog allow.

Nil postcards available to pay for stay, half the bathrooms out of order. Unsealed road for 3-4km into area. Good for off-grid lunch, would not stay overnight unless you have completely self-contained caravan, etc.

Tight spots for caravans over 20ft. Suits small caravans or camper trailers. Bring everything as no shops for ages.
Very nice beach though.

Amazing camp area and beach. There's no drinking water and the tap is a little bit uncomfortable. Must have cash with you and the road is not the best

Please stop to install this kind of toilet created by women for women.
We have something between the legs and it’s not really comfy to touch when seating

It's a good place to hang out with friends. You can see wild animals around you in the evening. Nice and clean toilets.

Good campsite, plenty of space right next to the beach. The last 5km of gravel road are not nice but doable by any cars.

Great little campground on the bay. No designated spots, just camp wherever you want to set up on the grass. Good cell service. Clean toilets. Gorgeous water perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding.

Very picturesque camping area, with plenty of space for a variety of campers
Minimum camping fee is $13 for one night, for two persons.
We didn't stay here, but I would definately stay here if I returned to the area

Stayed at a lovely well kept campsite here, big sandy, beautiful beach and amazing surrounds. Flushing toilets! Bring your own firewood, it is a national park after all. Fees 13$ a night although we were allowed to stay free as some grub broke in and stole all the funds. Would definitely recommend this place for a couple days stop over. Also offers nice walks and sheltered beach front
