Lilydale Campsite reviews
16Nice spot. On the road though. Limited options but nice. Toilets also. Undercover area also and bins. Thumbs up if helpful.
Good paths, very therapeutic.
Car park a bit choked with RVs and camps but very few folk about.
Practical and well cared for campsite. Close to road, so some sound from traffic while sleeping.
Absolutely fantastic favourite spot so far, so clean and thoughtfully cared about, wonderful toilet block so cared for I felt the people cared for the visitors here
Lillydale Falls is Open as of 27/12/2022. The campground is the entrance, council has fixed the issue and the path is open to the falls.
Great area for a few campers, toilets, bbq’s and play area for kids
Was very crowded when we arrived on a Sunday but, it did clear for us to turn our long rig around, later in the day.
It´s free camping with some facilities like BBQ, Tables, fireplace. The nature is wonderful and the place easy to find. I gave it 2 stars because the toilets were beyond disgusting, and the falls were close we couldn´t visit them.
Very good campsite with clean flushing toilets. The ground is very level, flat and soft making it ideal for tents.
Stayed here a few times and it's always lovely. Doesn't accommodate very many rigs but lots of tent space, grassed areas, large shady trees and clean toilets. This time a young family parked across 3 bays, put up the awning and then spread their tables and chairs across into the shaded grass area. Incredibly selfish, inconsiderate behaviour in a free camp. 3 camp sites for one rig. I already had a spot but so many weary travellers turned out and kept driving. Not kool.
A nice park with very toilet, picnic and BBQ facilities. A very nice short walk to the lower falls, did not go to upper Falls.
Great little campground for vans or cars and tent camping not suited for big rigs or caravans.
This campsite has a BBQ and sheltered area, a park, toilets.
This site does not however have showers anymore as some other sites may suggest they have been closed indefinitely.
There is a 1 night stay limit.
It is grassy and there is a short walk to some waterfalls.
Great park but not really well suited for vehicle campers, there was plenty of empty spaces when I was here but if you don't have a rig or accessories to level your vehicle you'll be camping slanted, there was 2 level car park sections near the entrance, one just long enough for two average camper vans or one coaster, the other enough space for one camper, a lot of people come and go and if people camp here in the car park then you'll be kind of hogging the some what limited car park spaces for people wanting to stop off to check out the Falls, however if you're camping in a tent there is plenty of space a little bit away from the car park (walk in only) and quite gorgeous surroundings.
Great little stop, close to a street but not bothersome. One can find clean toilets and bbq facilities.
Excellent campground with clean bathrooms (clean for a free spot). There is plenty of space on grass for tents but limited car parking spaces. Make sure you check out the waterfalls which are only a 10 minute walk from the campground.
Clean toilet, about 15 parking space. Campervan can park here as a free location. Mobile phone signal is full.
Quite and peaceful. Nice walk to waterfall. Not a proper caravan area but is useable. More for motor homes as areas not very level. Rubbish bins for waste and recyclables.
