Lifeline Australia reviews
7A good, well-organized charitable store. Staffs are friendly. It appears to be the least expensive in the Hobart region.
When in difficult situations the staff you provide excellent and empathetic support when indeed I would recommend utilising the service to anyone that is going through difficult a difficult time or experience
Good range.
Some good quality items.
Reasonable prices.
Friendly staff.
Recommend!
A nice charity shop with mostly reasonable prices and plenty of specials. There is a good selection and layout of books, clothes and tupperware here. It is bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside so don't be fooled. It's much better than the red cross in the city. And a good op shop place to visit!
Nice open clean no frills store with quality stock.
Prices are a bit higher than other opshops I visited whilst in Hobart but it's for a very good cause so fingers crossed it's all going to good use.
Service was very good.
Only qualm, which is a real pet peeve of mine, they have a stack of stuff at the front of the store they call the "vintage/retro section" however most of the items of interest are labelled Not For Sale (with large hand written signs that really detract from he displays). I think this is ridiculous, I understand they are making 'Shop Displays' but if they are for display only then the items are not indicative of anything that you can Actually Buy in the store anyway- if people are willing to purchase these items, they should sell them.
I'm a regular customer, who visits lifeline second hand shop every fortnight. They're the only second hand shop that allows you to layby items for a month.
Charity shops are not like they use to be. Things have certainly changed for the better. One of my favourite shops to visit weekly. They have regular specials of late so you may very well find a greater bargain than usual.
