SIL and I ventured out for a fish. It was school holidays so a mob of kids were there as well but plenty of room for all.
Things started fairly quietly but late in the afternoon we had a frantic 30 minutes catching barracouta on the one and only metal lure we had! Great fun!

Nice quiet fishing spot. Lots of small flathead for the kids to catch.

Superb views and serenity. Unfortunately no fish biting today but we enjoyed watching thousands of tiny silver fish swim by and plentiful birdlife.

I caught some fish. Who would have known that fishing of a jetty would do that?
