Leven Canyon Lookout reviews
15A truely magical place to visit on a sunny day! The walk to the lookout is easy and there is another lookout which is like 697 steps to either climb up or down depending on ur fitness!
Both lookouts are wonderful. Top lookout first means plenty of stairs down and slopes up later. Vice versa for the bottom lookout.
Well worth the walk, be sure to do the whole circuit too. They were not joking when calling it a 'canyon'. And the highest lookout is wonderfully placed to get the view.
Road to track and track itself was closed. Drove 30km there just to find this out. No notice of track closure on tas parks website or tas alerts site. Waste of time
Wonderful scenery. Toilets need to be cleaned EVERY DAY.they were disgusting. No water to flush. Lots of visitors there and no usable toilets.
Amazing, a must see in this part of the world. Three walks available and all good. Two directly to the lookouts or the round trip, lookout stairs lookout and back to car park. 45 mins all up, we took 65. Ummmm lol Base walk down to river 1 km further on is a must for the walker.
Facilities are very good with some overnight spaces available.
You cannot afford to miss this area.
A little strenuous getting down and back up to and from the lower viewing platform but well worth the effort, even on a cold wet day.
Fantastic walks and easy to lookouts over the Canyon.
If you don't want to walk up nearly 700 steps, do the walk anti clockwise.
Spectacular views and a wonderful walk through the rainforest. A treasure of a place. Good spot for a picnic too.
Well maintained track that easy to walk and awesome view at the end at both lookouts. I would highly recommend to anyone that in the area
Love this place.if you want a challenge go to bottom lookout first then take the 697 stairs up to the top lookout why not!
An easy walk, up hill on a relatively good track, to a lookout with incredible views. If heights are not your thing then I suggest you stand on the ridge and enjoy the view while the adventurous tryout the overhanging platform.
Really love this place! Many wildlife and birds. Easy walking track. Good spot for camping. Clean toilet and firewood provided.
Great walk, amazing lookout. Plenty of beautiful fungi photo opportunities. Once your at the bottom of the falls it's a hard climb back to the carpark.
Beautiful view, it's take about 20 minutes walking to see the first lookout and 40 minutes for the second one. Prepare yourself, they're about 600 steps! Haha
