Levee Food Co

Unfortunately I’ve just had a bad experience at Levee for the first time, as a regular. I had a $50 voucher, my total came to $44. When I presented the voucher I was told by the tall thin guy that unfortunately there couldn’t be cash out for the remaining $6.00 that’s ok I said, can’t you put that amount down on the voucher for another time. I was told no, it had to be used in full at the time. I was offered a coffee to take away, but as I just had a coffee at Levee which was terrible I decided to decline his offer. The fish that we had was tasteless also.
The young man slammed $5.00 down on the counter and walked off. That was a disgraceful Performance by him.
Can management please put the $1.00 from the remaining money owed from our voucher in the tip jar for the other lovely waitress that served us.

The sticky Tasmanian Salmon was perfectly done, wish it was bigger! Pizzas and ice creams were also great

Food was fantastic, service could have been a bit more prompt, but staff were friendly and happy to help.

Great setting on the waterfront. Sat outside so I think as we were only one of two tables there, service was a little slow. Garlic pizza was great, vegetable curry and duck salad was tasty with a good latte to go. We will be back.

The food here was wonderful and the staff were so friendly and smiley and nice. We did have to wait a long time for our food but other than that it was a great experience

Never had a bad feed! Have been craving a good pizza all week and decided to splash on a good one rather than a ‘chain store’ one and you guys definitely delivered as always delicious!

The place was pumping, mainly because the sun was out and the sun doesn't shine that often at that end of the state.there was an assortment of people from salty sea dogs to hipsters.again supprising me as we come from the Hobart end and have been warned about lays about, gypsy and gimps.which l didn't see maybe that time of day, they were all underground.l ate my lunch, wiped my finger prints from any glasses and door handle then left.

Absolutely delicious, fresh food. A shame we are not local as we would be here all the time! Friendly staff, good prices, definitely recommend!

Restaurant was really busy and very noisy. The wait staff were great, made amendments to the food as requested and it was no problem, she was very helpful and proactive with her suggestions. I had the calamari salad, lots of greens and pumpkin?

From the moment we walked in the door Levee provided exceptional service that was warm & welcoming. Steaks are amazing & the Thai beef salad was just as good. Water front tables under the sun with cold beers & wine, outstanding.
We will definitely be back!

We went here for dinner and were delightfully surprised, we all enjoyed a really tasty meal, especially the Thai beef salad which was to die for and the best one I have ever had, it was super flavourful and the beef was very tender! Additionally, it is in a really good location on the waterfront. Service was top notch too! Ella who served us was super friendly and when it had passed about 50 minutes and our food hadn't arrived yet Ella apologised, explained our food wasn't far off and she got us a round of free drinks on the house for our food taking so long - it arrived 5 minutes later anyway (and was well worth the wait!)!

Dinner this evening at the Levee Food Co was simply outstanding! The flavour of all of our dishes we had was incredible, and the service from Ryan second to none. To the point that I have booked a table for 8 people next Tuesday evening and requested young Ryan.
Do yourself a favour whilst in Launceston and treat yourself to a meal at the Levee Food Co.

Terrible experience here this weekend, booked for an afternoon table for two as we were away for a romantic weekend from Hobart and Levee had come highly recommended.
Waitress seated us and told us she would be back with water and to take our order, we waited patiently for 15 minutes only to see our waitress outside taking selfie’s with what looked like people she knew as at the same time fondling another mans head who was seated at another table so we upped and left, thank you to the staff at the bar who were very apologetic when we told them what had happened but we won’t be back or recommending this place.

Food and service was impeccable, which resulted in back to back dining experiences.

Had dinner at the Levee Food Co tonite with a small group celebrating my in-laws 58th wedding anniversary.
On a very busy public holiday evening I thought there might be issues wherever we went.
But this place was awesome! The food was simple and yet incredibly delicious. I ordered a m/r steak, and it was cooked perfectly. The broccolini and all the vegetables were just right. A lovely atmosphere with helpful, attentive staff. Everyone in our group loved their meal. Nothing to complain about at all.
On a personal note, as a musician, I noticed the acoustic treatment on the ceiling. You don't see that kind of detail in the preparation of a restaurant very often.
Highly recommended!

Really good seafood linguine. Great location on the pier, great for a walk after the meal with an icecream from the bar. Busy but not overly loud for a full restaurant. Staff were friendly

My family celebrated an early Christmas celebration at Levee and were blown away by the attentive service and amazing food. We could not fault anything about this restaurant and are already talking about coming back soon. Five stars!

Visited Levee Food Co on our 1st night in Launceston. Manager Patrick was extremely friendly and accommodating in getting us a table outside the restaurant with the harbour view even when the restaurant was almost full. Thank you Patrick. You made our night!
Ordered fish & chips and must say that it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted in my life. Highly recommend. Also ordered the lamb and was so well cooked, soft and tender and juicy.
Went back on our 4th night in Launceston and was glad we revisited as the food never disappointed. Ordered the fresh oysters which were so so fresh, the beef which was so well cooked, soft, tender and juicy. Also ordered the tom yum seafood pasta which was so flavourfully cooked.
I believe all other items listed on the menu must be good, just that we did not have enough time to savour all.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Do not give it a miss if you are ever in Launceston.

Had the Oysters and pizza. Beautiful food, pizza was really good. A couple of Red wines.would go back.well done.
