If Anyone wants an amazing great caring Doctors and Staff it’s The Mountain Retreat Medical Centre in South Hobart I have been seeing Doctor Roger Mulchay for many Years he is the most amazing caring Doctor ever and all the Doctors in this Practice are Great I recommend this place.

Thank you Dr Borris for being so kind to my little guy when he wasn’t feeling well. Even with you wearing full PPE Harry thought you were great and he can’t stop talking about the “jelly beans” you were looking for in his ears.

Disgusted and disappointed. I thought I was on the waiting list for surgery since 2018, turns out, the doctor never followed it up! I will now wait at least another year due to their incompetence!

Dr Linda Clow rude, incompetent. Butchered my skin biopsy & tried to laugh her way through it. I bled for days & will have an unsightly scar that she is not ‘liable’ for despite her appalling technique. On top of that her lack of personal hygiene & condescending manner left me speechless. Visitor to Tas. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had to lay down for a procedure & the bed linen absolutely stunk of cigarettes. I vomited. No vomit bags. Doctor refused to see me left it to the poor nurse. I wouldn’t go back. Ever.

The doctors, nurses and admin staff are fantastic. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful service to the community. It is greatly appreciated.

Dr AniKa Roche what a doctor. It was so hard to get in for app after telling them non stop I'm a type 1 diabetic and need to see a doctor so bad. The respect told us so many stories why we cant be seen and then after several phone calls that they will seen me. I'm new to Hobart after moving down from Melbourne Vic. I had to pay to get my file sent over b4 my Hobart doctor could see me, wow I could not understand why I would be made to wait after knowing I have diabetes. Thats only the beginning I also have a parasite called blasasistic living in my gut and there is only 1 treatment in Aus to have, its from the Sydney compound centre where the tablets are tailed for this disease. After telling Dr Roche all this she still wanted to do things the Hobart way dumb and slow and no clue about what I just explained to her. She kept on wanting me to take medazzole witch does not do nothing for some one like me. I have been told by the best doctors in Melbourne about what I need to do and this doctor try to tell me she knows what to do. She would not even call the compound centre line she was meant to do so I can fell better. Duds doctors in Hobart that can not be trusted with your health. I found reception to be very friendly and it was easy to book. I've seen two doctors here and they were both approachable and patient.

I was waiting for a plan to be set up so I could have physio on my bad hips Somehow the information was lost between the doctor and the nurses I then went in to find out what was happening and was told they would get right on it. Nothing happened so I rang again today Thursday and told the whole story again and again was told they would get right back to me Not happy if this is how they treat people
