Lake Barrington Campground reviews
8Nice camp ground fairly level and easy access with flush toilets BBQ and under cover area a boat ramp near by and only access to the lake.
BEWARE! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Toilets were revolting. This place had a weird uncomfortable feeling when we arrived! After hearing gunshots fired from the boat ramp, we ended up leaving in the middle of the night because we felt incredibly unsafe!
Great free camp on open grass in a treed spot. Can access lake side easily on foot. Toilet block maintained poorly but was adequate. Site clean overall. Has a shelter. Quiet company except for 60 secs of local hoons round for a rev and dust show. Weak 4G on our Aldi Telstra.
Bit of a mess really won't go again alot of glass and rubbish around even though bins are provided! No toilet paper in the toilet which is outdated and falling apart anyway. People partying until 2 in the morning with very load music and no respect. Young kids riding around swearing painting things with bright pink spray paint. And not so bright people dragging logs around but destroying all the signage in the meantime. People that act this way are the reason we're losing all of our campgrounds! RESPECT THE PLACES YOU STAY AT AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU OR STAY AT HOME!
The campground was very quiet, we even had wood for a fire. The guy who maintains the place was very kind to brought us a bin.
Not a bad spot. Except when the Rude, over privileged townies turn up and they try and take over the area the foul mouthed bunch with horrible kids
Great, free campground for tents or campervans. Toilets facilities and quiet. Short walk down to Lake Barrington
We found our selves at the wrong side of the lake.
And the camp ground was small compared to the other side of the lake where you can camp in a much bigger area.
That's why there are no pictures.
The GPS is not much good in this area.
